The first time I went to David's was in July to purchase my wedding dress. Tanya was very helpful and I left with a beautiful dress, I was very happy with the level of service I received from her at the time. However, I am very disappointed at the alterations of my dress. When I first got fitted they took a few things off here and there and fixed the hem, it cost me 310$ at the time, which is a lot (the dress was 700$). To start off: I am a David’s Bridal employee in Wisconsin. I am also a bride to be. I am sorely disappointed in how I was treated by the management at this store. I went with my mother and 6mo daughter to find the dress of my dreams, which I did! But that was about the only good thing that happened. I had made the appointment to travel and told them ahead of time that I was an employee. I ordered my dress which was ordered in the wrong size. So the manager offered to alter it for free then I was measured for the alterations by a member of the alterations staff Mary. A week later I was called to come back in to try on the dress. Well the dress had not been touched by anyone they just wanted to check the measurements that had already been taken. Customer service was horrible. My daughter just found out she's being deployed and had to move her wedding date up 5+ months. Because of this we had to pick new bridesmaid dresses (original dress from another store weren't going to be in on time). Needless to say my daughter is stressed and our consultant just added to the stress! She didn't listen and brushed us off. She was no help!!! She said things that were rude and unbelievable!!! I pray the dresses come in with no problems! We will not be having alterations done here.
Went there to look for a wedding dress, they were very nice but not listening to what I was looking for. At the end she finally picked one that I was looking for and liked but I only had 10 mins left in my appointment so they wouldn’t let me try anything else on even though they were open for another 2 hours, had 1 other person trying on dresses and a bunch of employees just wondering around not helping anyone. They even knew we were from out of town. Not impressed won’t be going there again.
I came to find my mom a dress for my wedding and kiki at the Rockville office was really not so good to work with. We had to keep asking her opinion. She was very slow. She was acting like we were bothering her every time she pulled out her phone, we even had to call her twice and she was only about 3 feet away on her cell phone. She didn’t speak good English at all. I would not recommend here.
I originally rated this store at 5 stars because my first visit was amazing! Now that I've been back to the store for my bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dress I've dropped my rating due to horrible customer service, unorganized and unhelpful staff. I definitely wouldn't reccomend to other brides and once I have my stuff we ordered I won't do business with David's again!
So I have been to David’s on several occasions, todays visit was as a bridesmaid at the new Easton location. I do have to say the customer service was slightly better for Easton than past experienceces but with this new location it seemed like they are working the consultants harder. The consultant we had was friendly and helpful but seemed over worked between our group and the brides group next to us and how is that fair???? Especially for that other bride.
