I was there for my alterations. I live an hour and a half away. Scheduled a sitter and drove into town. My appointment was at 2:00 pm. I arrived at 1:30 I check in and asked if they were running on time. The lady at the desk said they were running on time on a strict schedule to come back at 2:00. I was totally ok with this. Multiple times I have had horrible experiences with davids bridal. I recently purchased my bridesmaid dress from there and had to order it due to them not having my size or color in the dress I was looking for . When I received the dress I took it home and tried it on. I immediately was not able to zip it all the way up due to the way the dress was poorly made . I was there today with my bridesmaids- 4 of the 7 that I have and my daughter. We arrived early, not expecting to be taken in early but still time to shop around before our consultant met with us. Well, Saturday at 3:30 is an AWFUL time to go because once 3:30 hit there were probably 4 parties waiting on a consultant. I feel they should give someone more of a discount is you are spendingbmore than 150 we only got about 5 off i am thankful for that but if you have a big wedding party and spend alot you should get more of a discount and also no one ask us if we needed any assistance
Treated my wife and daughters badly. We never write reviews but in this case we are making an exception. With both of us teaching and 4 daughters. I'm going to make every effort to make sure the girls at each High School are well aware of the store to avoid. David's Bridal in Hoover.
If there was anyway to give a zero star I would. Went to the store yesterday afternoon (Oct. 6) looking for information on homecoming dresses. I just had some simple questions. If they don't have a dress in stock, can you order it? Difference between online and store. Sizing questions. The lady I spoke with was completely rude. I just came from buying my bridal shower dress from this store and I wanted to show a family member my wedding dress and they wouldn’t allow me to go upstairs because it’s by appointment only. I could understand if I was a bride looking for a dress without an appointment but for someone to be told they can’t not look around is a bit rude.
