TALK ABOUT A BRIDES NIGHTMARE: I have bought a dress from Davids Bridal off East Va Beach Blvd during the month of July. They ordered my dress and when it was ready for pick up it was the wrong size so they ordered me the size that I needed. Brides Bridesmaids etc...BEWARE OF DAVIDS BRIDAL IN NORFOLK..... Christina Rosalie Glass had finally found her dress a few months ago after looking and trying on so many gowns. When I bought my dress, I asked the woman who was helping me if it would be easier to get the top or bottom altered. She assured me that either one would be fine. So I got the dress to fit my top and in need of alterations on the bottom. Today I had my alteration appointment. DON'T EVER shop at the David's Bridal on Sawmill Road!!! Their regular dress staff is wonderful and sweet. However, their ALTERATIONS DEPARTMENT IS RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE!!!!! I should have listened to the two other people who forewarned me about how bad the personalities are in the alterations dept. at the Sawmill Road location. But, I didn't heed the warning. one last time shale we! So since the last issue I was contacted by Angela the store manager, as well as the DM. they really wanted to make right on the situation and genuinely felt awful. The have both made a point of taking this entire experience and using it as a learning curve to make things better! I will say they are making good on that promise. I am extremely upset with Davids Bridal. I've had the worse experience ever. The first was when I requested a decorative comb put in place of the generic comb that was in my Vail and once I came in to pickup my dress and Vail from alterations the comb Not only was not on my Vail but it was completely gone from my package. So Amy the manager apologized and tried it a second time to put the new comb in and I returned 4 days before my engagement and partial Bridal pictures and saw the comb was put on my Vail backwards.
