I got to davids bridal and checked in. After I checked in for my appointment it took a good 15 min until someone came to help us. I actually had to ask. I had to look for my own dresses. The lady helping me was preoccupied with someone else and I had to keep looking for her. It was an awful experience
I made an apointment with davids bridal being the first one in the store that day and the first that shouldve been helped. Well we got there and immedietly the girls are running around saying ill be with you in a minute,at first im like ok theyre busy so i just started looking around about 5 "ill be with yous" later the lady finally introduced herself and started helping me i got my dress figured out. If this were a review for the day I purchased my dress itd be 5 stars. But this is for my alterations appt. WORST ALTERATIONS APPT EVER!! I purchased a Bridesmaids dress from Davids Bridal in May for my dad & step-moms wedding in Oct. Went yesterday for my alterations appt & it was ridiculous! My appt was at 5:30pm, we got there a bit early because we were worried with traffic. So the girl I checked in with said they're running behind & it'll be about 10 min later than my appt time. I Wouldn't tell anybody i know to go there for a dress i couldn't get the dress i wanted cause when they ordered the dress they didn't order it my size then they wanted me to pay almost 500 more for alterations and i paid almost 800 for the dress it didn't want to pay 500 for the alterations so i got a different dress and they messed up on the hem on that one this is supposed to be a happy time in my life and i was so dissatisfied
We would have went elsewhere if we had other options. Our overall experience was lackluster to say the least. Our associate Emily super was helpful & friendly but was called to the front counter and scolded/talked to as our party happened to look at a dress that was "bagged" and not hanging 2 feet over in the "showroom". We were approached and asked to not touch the dress, then asked what we were doing followed by "who is helping you?" and left with an eye roll. Went there about 2 weeks ago and it was horrible. Glad we took our business else where because they did not deserve our money! I highly recommend you not to go there.
Lady's were very nice but the selection for dresses 100.00 and lower that they advertise was VERY small. Luckily I found a perfect dress..
awful customer service experience with one of their managers. Long story short my sister ordered 6 bridesmaids dresses from the Edmonton store...and mine was 1 size too big. We were told I could go to Calgary and get it exchanged for a smaller size no problem. I went in and had to deal with a cranky, bitter acting woman who told me I couldn't exchange it because that size was special ordered for me in Edmonton.
