DO NOT BUY YOUR WEDDING DRESS FROM HERE! My sister picked out her dress in May at the David's Bridal in Schaumburg, IL. They told her the dress would be ready, brand new from the factory, in a few months. We were surpised when it was ready just a few weeks later. I thought it was going to be a good experience when I walked in everyone was very friendly. My consultant on the other hand. She didn't make me feel comfortable at all. After a few dresses it felt like she was just pushing the last one I had tried on rather than going to find me dresses and the ONE! After I found the one she was way happier like she was thankful I FINALLY found my dress.
I went to the David's Bridal in Greenfield, WI and the experience left everything to be expected. Nicole, my consultant, seemed to be asking all of the right questions, but the dresses didn't reflect that. During the actual trying on part of the appointment, Nicole kept leaving to put dresses away. I ended up zipping my own dresses and just holding it behind me because no one was there to clip it for me. The first visit walking into the building i was unaware that you needed a reservation. Thats my fault. But when telling them i would just look they gave me so much attitude saying dont touch anything. They make you feel unwanted. I came back with a reservation and the girl helping us was awesome. I found my dress. When paying she said it would be available pick up in August. She took down all my info and said they would contact me. So- show up 5 minutes late, only to wait 15 more for a "stylist". I (a bridesmaid) went to the desk-- "oh I have to find someone" like really?! The place is EMPTY. Im still not sure of the purpose of a stylist because she was with us for a total of 7 minutes shouting out our sizes (who liked that to be public knowledge!?) - assigned 6 of us to two dressing rooms (three more were empty but apparently we couldn't use them) and then left. Rude management! Treated me like I was doing them a favor. Spent 4 hours there and got only 45 min of thier time. Store was too busy for one on one so they had to leave us to help others even tho we had 2 appointments. The original stylist didn't do well as she seemed to not care my mom was getting left behind every time I turned around, didn't tell us thank you for the time spent with her or that she was telling others, we had to go find her the whole time. Super super super horrible customer service. I literally just left and it took me an hour and a half to PICK UP two bridesmaid dresses for weddings I am in. Obviously those dresses are expensive and you would think they would appreciate your business. I understand you need to make an appointment for alterations but when you simply don't know that you need alterations until you pick up your dress..??? Come on now. That's not even the issue though. The new store looks beautiful, but the customer service was terrible past the front desk. The consultant told my mother to look for dresses we would like, then walked away. She returned 30 minutes later because we asked someone in the front desk to call her. She came back for two minutes, saw two of the gowns I liked then walked away. Didn't see her again for 15 minutes. Then, in the fitting room she would help me put the gown on, would not clip it tight enough and then she would leave hastily.
