Horrible experience. Purchased a gown here in January in Feb was advised to order one size up. June went for alterations was HUGE. Had to pay $440 upfront for alterations go back July 19th and am told I need to pay another $130. Managers very nice understood why was upset and refunded me the $130. Pick my dress up two days later take it home and unzip it two days later and this is what it looks like. HORRIBLE. I wish I could give them 5 star ratings but I can't! Although I do love their dresses for bridesmaid and the prices are somewhat reasonable, their customer service was not the greatest! I went with high expectations since my cousin got her bridesmaid dresses there and they had all fitting rooms with the girls name tags on them and waiting to be fitted. The sellsperson was of no help to me or my bridesmaids and had us pick out dresses to try on and write down our selections. The only thing she did was zip one person into a dress out of 20 dresses the group tried on.
I had a great experience at David's Bridal. Eduardo was an awesome sales person. He was very helpful and professional salesmen. I found a beautiful dress in the first 5 minutes of walking in. He even match the perfect shoes for the dress. I totally recommend visiting the store and ask for his help. Thank you David's Bridal.
We bought my daughters dress in Sacramento and were told that it should cost no more than $250.00 for alterations.. The manager was standing there as that was said. They said we could go to any Davids Bridal. We figured we'll go to the one in Pinole. We went there yesterday and we're surprised by the charge for the alterations. It was almost $500.00. We paid $650.00 for the dress. We obviously complained and they took about $50.00 off. Needless to say corporate will get a letter. That's an outrageous charge.
They were willing to take me as a walk in but completely lost interest when I didn't find what I wanted. When I said I would like to come back another day the girl literally walked away and never came back.
Dude this store has saved my life made me look like a damn moviestar !!!! Ask for Mistie, this girl don't need to be In Modesto Homegirl needs to be in NEW YORK hands down she is thee BEST love this this woman!!
I guess I was expecting a say yes to the dress experience. The sales associates were nice & helpful. But it's hard to really see how the bride looked without her being pinned up and there wasn't a place for her to stand to fully see the dresses. I left feeling that the time was wasted. The appt was supposed to be 2 hours but we cut it short and left about 45 mins into the appointment. The lady that helped us seemed knowledgeable but I guess I had my hopes & expectations too high.
