I was looking for a dress for Mother of the Groom. I needed a short dress. Everything they had was all lace. Very poor selection. Big waste of 10 minutes!
I was told I could use $20 coupon and Mother of Bride discount come to find out I wasn't able to use both of them at the same time.
I went to David's a few weeks ago and the service was bad. We set up a bridesmaid "appointment" and no one helped us. To top it off, I didn't know I wasn't allowed to look at bridal gowns and a lady walked up to us and took the dresses right out of one of my bridesmaids hands and hung them back up and told us we couldn't look at bridals. I was furious. So we asked if there was any consultant available to set up an appointment that same day to look at bridal gowns and they told us there was a consultant available at 4. I have been calling for 3 weeks to try and schedule an alterations appointment and NO ONE answers the phone. I have called at all different times during business hours and every day for 3 weeks now. The wedding is 1.5 months away. I go online to try and schedule an appointment that day and it says to call your store. Extremely frustrating. You need to answer your phones or have a message system that you can leave a message to have someone call back
I've had the worst experience with David's bridal! They didn't explain their lay away procedure to me and my mom and I barely was able to get my dress ordered in time. Not to mention my bridesmaid dresses, one came and obviously had too much fabric so it didn't fit the girl correctly and they tried to make her pay for alterations! She had tried that exact dress in the exact size and it fit perfectly 2 weeks before! They were very rude about the whole thing and the alterations lady was even worse! Bride's Beware! I am a former employee from David's Bridal of Flint, worked there for 3 years in all departments of the store, so I decided to ignore the reviews and go through them for my bridesmaid dresses since I had a friend who was one of the managers there and trusted that she would make sure my event went flawlessly for me. No matter how many times I go to this location, I seem to leave dissatisfied. My first time picking something up in store of course confused because I paid for my dress at the front desk ( you would think that's where you pick it up) well I walk past a lady standing at the podium up front helping another person trying to do 2 things a once asked if we needed help oh just picking up a dress as I walked toward the front desk and the front lady quickly said with an attitude oh she can help you.
