I booked my Mother of the Bride dress fitting the day before the appointment but the girl screwed up the appointment and made it for a week later, so when I showed up...no appointment. They "squeezed" me in but I was mostly left to my own devices to get into and out of the dresses alone with little assistance. Two of the dresses they gave me where too big because they have me the woman's size versus the misses size so they didn't fit right. Went for alterations for the dress I bought there had an appointment for 1:30. When I got there I was told they were with someone else. I waited until 2 and went and asked when they would be done and no one could tell me. Took my dress and then walked out at 2:15. Why make an appointment? Thanks no thanks!!!!
Just left this location heartbroken. I've been twice with appointments thus far, but it has been difficult to have all of my bridesmaids visit and see my top choices. Tonight I went back and was extremely dismissed and disrespected by the store manager, Christie. I asked if I could simply step into the dress; the sales associate was sweet in trying to explain their policy, but then her manager came over and was very rude and abrupt, then simply walked away from me and my friend before we could say another word. This was a post from a friend of mine. I am beyond disgusted with the amount of discrimination that she experienced in your shop today. She is a beautiful and intelligent woman and your staff member made her feel so bad about her self image she walked out not even wanting a wedding!! If I could give 0 stars I would!! I will NEVER recommend David's Bridal to ANYONE EVER!!! They've been the worst place to deal with! While we were there looking for bridesmaid dresses our consultant, Lisa, was nowhere to be found! We had to basically run the appt ourselves pulling the dresses we wanted and the correct sizes. I had a terrible experience with this David's Bridal. I have never been treated so poorly by a David's Bridal and their customer service. I have been a bridesmaid 6 times and this was by far the worst bridal shop I have worked with. I was sized at a 10-12 when I am actually 6! A 6! I got stuck with a dress that I paid almost 200 dollars for and then alterations that were over $200!! All because one of their associates ordered me the wrong dress. Our consultant greeted us by rudely telling me to go look on the rack for dresses I wanted to try on, she did not introduce herself or ask me about my wedding. I wanted to keep an open mind and try on a variety of styles to find one that was good for my body type and get help from the consultant. She was not helpful at all. I tried on about 4 or 5 dresses. I had originally bought my dress from the Cottman Avenue location and the experience was simply amazing but I had gone to the Springfield store for my alterations, veil, and headpiece. When I first went to buy my veil and headpiece, the manager had started to assist us and it was a horrible experience.
