Davids Bridal is under staffed, but overall I love being in the store. Halle is the best.
This is the first time I've come to Facebook to write a review about a company, but I feel that it is important to do so, so that others truly know what they are getting themselves into. So I scheduled an appointment, about a week or two ahead of time back in February for all five of my bridesmaids to pick out dresses. The first girl that helped me picking a dress didn't make me feel like I was picking my WEDDING DRESS or special in any kind of way. She was completely uninterested in helping me, at least that's how I felt. But then Patricia stepped in and in just 5-10min made a complete difference! Didn't decide on a dress as of yet though...but thank you Patricia!
I enjoy my experience the first time around because the person who help me was very consider and patient. My second time to purchase a dress was awful. The sales person was not focus to what I wanted and did not give me many of gowns to choose from. She brought out two dresses and I swear that was my only choice so I did end up likeing one of the dresses out the two I purchase it. After reading several negative reviews I did decide to try this store as I had another girlfriend find her wedding dress here. When I arrived I met the lady who was helping and her speech to me was incredibly scripted and she could care less to actually even learn my name. She then carelessly measured me without actually trying (of which she ended up choosing a size 10 for me of which I was actually at every other bridal store a 6 or 8 depending on how fitted the dress was) - I tried to tell her that and she said no I just t... read more
I heard a davids bridal commercial on the radio and it reminded how much I hated my experience at the location in Happy Valley. They were great UNTIL I bought my dress on their credit card which was awful and another story. Once I got my dress they completely dismissed me and future appointments, I made appointments for my bridesmaids and when they showed up we were not greeted by a friendly face but more of an irritated worker. I went shopping today for a specific dress and I was greeted by a very happy person, and my consultant seemed to be very nice. But when I asked my consultant about the dress I was looking for (I even had the number for it) she said that they don't carry that dress and she walked away. As soon as she walked away I found the dress I went in for. First impression and service on June 10 were great. Bought 3 dresses that day. After a month we still don't have dress #3. We were finally informed that it may take up to 4 months from the date of order to get the dress which means September 25 with the wedding on October 13. Then they tell us alterations will take 4-6 weeks after the dress finally arrives. Obviously that doesn't work so they tell us for an additional fee they can "expedite" the alterations.
