My daughter is getting married this month. I live in Kansas. I tried a dress on there and ordered it from the happy valley store. The first problem was that when the sales girl in Kansas called to order the dress in Oregon she wasn't given the commission for helping me. When I gave my credit card over the phone I asked about the commission. She said "well if she wanted it ran that way then she should have said it at the beginning of the conversation". Really impersonal consultants. My best friend scheduled an appointment for her dress there and the consultant didn't listen to anything she had to say. She kept bringing out cheap monstrosity after monstrosity even though my friend had a healthy budget and would have been willing to even go over it for the right dress. Luckily there was a catalogue next to the seat I was in that had my friend's dream dress in it, and it was just over budget--which she was willing to do. Very poor experience at this store and their staff on all levels. After spending a couple grand, they messed up her sash, never made it satisfactory and all sales are final. We gave them multiple opportunities to rectify the situation. I believe that if I wasn't so persistent I wouldn't have gotten anybody to care at all. When somebody spends that kind of $ on that important of a day and they mess up, they should do everything possible to make it right! This was the WORSE experience EVER! If the price wasn't so cheap I would have NEVER stepped foot in that place AGAIN after our first appt for bridesmaids dresses and was told "well that party has a bride so they need my attention more" Had to order my daughters dress NUMEROUS time, another dress ordered the wrong color,and when I called corporate, he did his best to accommodate but when he spoke with the manager asking them to take money off, they told him they already took 10% off the dresses for the inconvenience which the... read more
Marilyn the assistant Manager is very rude and unprofessional. No one ask me if I needed help r welcome to David Bridal when I walk into the store. Looking for a dress wedding I was attending. One of the saleswoman was able to order the dress from another store, not knowing the dress was not gonna fit when it came in. Was never given a receipt until the package came in the mail. Brittany was bringing dresses out literally twice my size, they were so big that I couldn't even imagine what they'd look like if they was to fit. Asked for a smaller size and she brought dresses that was clearly too small (like size 4's, anyone with a brain could tell I don't wear a size 4, but I don't wear a 24 either). Costumer service was awful. They were completely unhelpful. We had an appointment but still had to wait for a room. For 8 people they gave us 1 room. Then rushed us because we went long. Obviously we are going to take longer when 8 people have to use 1 room. Won't ever go back and don't recommend.
We went in for our scheduled bridal appointment. My group picked 6 dresses that we thought I would like. About the 4th dress in we decided that style was not for me so a friend went to look again and came back with one dress. The consultant snapped at her that she could not go pick out dresses, we picked out our 6 already.
