I was disappointed in the associate I spoke to today Jenna at the Novi store. I found a sandal my daughter loved The gemma online. I was ready to order it but I decided to call the store to see if it was available to save myself Shipping and handling charges. I was told by Jenna that the shoe was unavailable in store or online.. David's Bridal proved to me that customer service is a lost Art! What should have been a 30 min. appt. turned into 4 hours and a waste of my time. My Saturday afternoon plans went up in smoke and they could not have cared any less. My time is just as valuable as theirs. Had I had other options I would have taken my money else where. NEVER again will I spend money with them. If I could return the other items I purchased from them I would do so. If I could have chosen less than a 1 star rating I would have done so.
Little to no assistance. We did find a dress though
My experience as the bride was great. It was extremely busy and I loved my dress. Once received I didn't open it or try it on since I was getting it altered: I put it on once I got my shoes and noticed two stains (this dress was ordered) and many beads were loose or strings coming out. My maid of honor couldn't make it with me that day so she went in on her own. She went down in a bike so she had biker gear on and instantly had judgement seen all over the check in persons face. Awful customer service. Consultant was awful, messed up dress sizes and now they wont exchange it. Sent another dress to the wrong address and now they do not want to steam my daughters wedding dress if someone else alters it. Talk about a money hungry company. I would never suggests anyone go here. Find somewhere else. Save the aggravation. You dont need the added stress.
Purchased a dress for $99.00 for a Beach event, paid $60.00 to have the dress hemmed 1 inch. It took 3 weeks for me to pick up only to see the dress is stained and the lining in the dress was double stitch, and the lining longer than the dress. I have to return today at 7pm for second fitting. The alterations on the dress looked like something my four year old did. Hopefully all issues are corrected and I don't have to get ugly.
When I walked in this store 4 workers were standing there talking while a stylist was helping someone in the back. Other than my friend and myself we were the only other people in the store. The workers did not even bother to ask what type of dress I was looking for nor help me find anything. After a frustrating 20 minutes of looking at out of date dresses and rude workers who were only interested in socializing with each other we decided to leave.
The people at this store have a double standard. They gave my sister her money back for her dress on order and a bow which was taken out of the store just because it was on the same receipt. They will not take my dress, the two flower girl dresses and the other bow back. I am on SSD and THEY ARE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. BOYCOTT THIS STORE. All I want is my money back. Manager wouldn't even work with me. Dresses weren't altered. Still in bags that they put them in. Now my daughter can't have a birthda... read more
