Everything had been going well till I showed up to my alterations appointment 10 minutes early. The staff told me that the alterations lady just took someone in and they would be with me in a minute. 30 minutes later I'm still waiting. I ask what's going on and the staff member goes to look and says it will be 30 minutes longer, since the girl in front of me was late. They suggested I reschedule my appointment. David's Bridal was my first stop to begin the experience of wedding dress shopping! We showed up to the bridal boutique in Calgary and began to search the racks for the one! My stylist took us to our room and was never seen again... she was clearly more interested in the sale next door. So we continued and my maid of honour dressed me, and my party continued to pull dresses for me to try. I left feeling disappointed in my experience and the service. I have generally been very pleased with this location however, I am a coordinator and went with a bride to get final alterations, she was sold a damaged dress and was never told what the damage was. She thought that it was just the last one. No one was really accommodating.. Only offered to fix it at her cost. Very disappointed. May send future brides to bridal warehouse.
This place is the most disorganized company my party has ever worked with. The employees do not know how to use tape measures and expect the majority of people to have the same sizes, not understanding that body types are different. The employees are very disrespectful and cater to certain people more than others. I've always said money is green, I guess not to davids bridal� I RECOMMEND ANYONE PLANNING ON USING THIS PLACE TO GO ELSEWHERE!! #AVERYDISSAPOINTEDCUSTOMER
My bff is getting married she told the stylest that her budget over all could NOT spend more than $400 and she pulled a dress that was over $500 and the total was over $700. The Stylest told her that her alterations on the dress would be $180 but when we went they told her her total was $582!!!! She was in tears. She is 5ft and and I'm between size so her dress was already big. And the stylest didn't even mention a petite size!! Teagan was amazing! She was so helpful and understanding! She gets five stars!!! The store, however, is in need of a desperate update-duck taped carpet, run-down furniture, just over all run down. They didn't have any of the dresses I wanted to try on that I picked from their site. Again, Teagan made this experience a positive one!
My daughter in law went here and they were terrible. List the bride's dress twice. Ordered bridesmaids dresses too large and were very snotty when the girls complained. I truly think when you are paying $800.00 for a dress alterations would be included come on now really????
