The overall experience was great. The ladies were very nice. They helped me find my one dress! I rang the bell! Only complaint I have is they don't carry bras any bigger than double D. I'm not bragging.. But there are women out here bigger than most.
I'm so upset!!! My mom went to pickup her MOB dress at davids bridal today. She went in and EVERY alteration that they made her pay for in advance was wrong. SIX inches too small, hem too long straps in the wrong place. She had to wait there two hours while they hacked the dress. She was so upset she had to sit down and ask for water and they still pushed her put the door with the dress (350$ in alterations because they sold her a plus size dress.. We were there for over 30 minutes and we had to finally go ask for help and it was like they couldn't be bothered... I will never go back to the Natick one ever again!
I never thought I would leave a wedding dress shop in tears until a few weeks ago. I originally tried on the regular length of my dress, but with my body shape, it was baggy right at my rib cage. The original woman that was helping me told me that if we ordered the petite, the problem would be fixed, but that I just wouldn't be able to wear much of a heel. A few months ago when I went I to David's Bridal, I walked in and the lady at the front desk was very rude just because I said, "No thank you we're fine right now I'm just looking to see if anything catches my eye." "Ordering bridesmaids dresses at David's Bridal in Harrisburg is fun", said no woman ever. Seriously - why is this process so painstakingly difficult? And while I'm asking questions, one star is too many... how do I give zero? I went into the store with a photo ID and a debit card to order a surprisingly cute bridesmaids dress for one of my friend's weddings. I went to pick up my dress from alterations. Let me just say, it's upsetting to see your dress with pins still in it. I had been told it was ready. They tried really hard to get me to put cups in the bust area even after I told the lady over and over I did not want them. I already paid more in alterations then I did for the dress and I was so happy all I wanted was to bring it home.
