When I first came this David’s bridal in Deptford, the women who helped me were great. This was 9 months ago. So now, 3 months before my wedding, I’m having issues with my dress and veil and there is NOTHING they can do about it. I understand store policies but I am not asking for anything unreasonable. Fran was very rude, Julia was very helpful and nice. The sitting/ dressing room situation was a mess.
I am getting married in two years, yes very early to go dress shopping but I had my best friend (maid of honor) in from out of state and wanted to have the opportunity to be able to do some looking with her there. It started great besides We where about 8 mins late to my appointment bad timing on my part coming from Redlands traffic was not what I expected. Brides-to-be: do not, I repeat, do not shop David's Bridal. We have had the most horrendous struggle in prep for my sister's big day. She was refused water during her fitting, I was called a liar for attempting to pick up a dress, and most recently my dress arrived way too small with no time to order another. Through it all we have been accused of doing wrong on our part, or lied to. "We left your dress in the dip bucket (of water) on accident." That's the response we got after we came to pick up my fiancee's wedding dress today. After having her dress altered and scheduling an appointment to pick it up 3 weeks later, the dress clearly wasn't ready. Upon arrival my fiancee had to wait 17 minutes before anyone tried to find her dress. They then came back only to tell her they couldn't find it anywhere. This is the second time I have been to this location and was not very pleased. First time I was getting married and had an apt and the elderly lady pretty much kept telling me I was not allowed to wear white because I was not a virgin and kept putting me in dresses I told her I had no desire to try on, I didn't end up buying my dress there. This past time the receptionist was super nice I didn't have an apt but was going to try on bridesmaid dresses for my sister's wedding. I made an appointment for my bridesmaids to try on dresses. While the selection was good, customer service was not stellar. Lisa was a little slow. I had to go and get her from the front desk where she was talking with other employees to get her to come back to the dressing room to take care of my girls... clip the dresses tighter, answer questions, etc. towards the end we didn't know if the appointment had ended and if she had recorded what we liked because she was too busy taking care of somebody else.
While they have a good selection of dresses Brides.....BEWARE of Alteration costs BEFORE you purchase....its TOO LATE ... after you have purchased the dress. Alerations for my daughter in laws dress was well over 1,000 dollars !!!!!!!!
Very rude customer service! Leslie was no help to helping my friend find the dress she wanted .
