David's Bridal in Warwick Rhode Island incorrectly altered my dress AGAIN!! They have failed multiple times and my wedding is in 4 days!!! I drove 1 hour and 40 minutes there and back and purchased the dress on 11/19/16. 12/15/16 my dress came in but they said I had to schedule my alterations no more than 8 weeks prior to the wedding. The dress was the wrong size so a new one was ordered. I had to wait for that new dress to come in. My first alteration appointment was scheduled for 4/1/17. Terrible service. I went for formal dresses, and even though they work by appointment there is no one really helping you. They missing a lot of sizes and no one really looks like they interested in selling anything.
I scheduled an appointment for my bridesmaids and one for myself immediately afterwards. We got there, my paperwork wasn't ready, so they had to redo it. The stylist for my girls could have cared less about them. We picked out the dresses with no help from anyone. When it came time for my appointment, we (my girls and I) started selecting dresses by ourselves. Then when a stylist was finally assigned to me, she was FANTASTIC! I SAID YES TO THE DRESS! Had it ordered, was so happy to get it and was told it would be in by August. I got a call 3 months sooner. I couldn't believe it was already ready to be picked up. So I went to the store to get it. When I showed up they tried to give the the dress without me trying it on. I told her I wanted to try it on. I came in to have a bridesmaids look for dresses. I have preferred coming to this location because I have felts like the employees were always friendly and a friend of mine works at this location. Arriving for my appointment we did have to wait a little bit before a consultant could help us which wasn't a huge deal since they were busy. When my girls found and were purchasing their dresses our consultant who ended up being my friend was cashing them out when her Ipad died and had to ask the manager for help. I am not happy with the service we received the day we went shopping for dresses. I felt our consultant was not organized and was not devoted to our group. I also am upset that our dresses had been sitting in the store for 5 weeks. We ordered dresses on March 12th. I called on Sunday April 30th to ask if the dresses had arrived because it had been several weeks and the response was, yes they have been here since March 24th. Ordered my gown over a month ago with a promised date of April 22 called on that date and they said it wasn't there a week later called back still no clue where it's at. May 2nd and I'm still waiting glad I didn't wait to the last minute to purchase it
