I purchased my gown online and was told they steam it free of charge. I called was put on hold (except they didn't mute it) & I hear the associate speaking to her "manager" "she bought the dress online should I just tell her no?" Gets back on the phone and says oh we don't have a steamer?....I said "ok so your not ironing any of these bridal gowns?" My dress fitting and consultant was a great experience and time. It was what led to me finding a great consultant that was a poor rating for me. I scheduled my dress fitting online, had my email confirmation confirming my date and time and when I show up, my apt was no where to be found. My end result was that I was tucked away in a corner, in a too small of a dressing room to try dresses on as BRIDE, I had to walk to the big mirrors and find a different spot to use every time and sometimes felt bad when another bride.walked... read more
The store itself is great. The associate assigned to me (which was for an appointment that I scheduled ) was not helpful at all! I scheduled an appointment for my little cousin to get a bridesmaid dress for her brothers wedding. This woman saw us maybe twice to ask how we were doing. No suggestions, nothing. I finally just had my cousin try on some dresses, found one we liked and bought the dress in the right color online.
I showed up with the bridesmaids to find dresses, we found some dresses and there was a gentleman who put all of the bridesmaids into one dressing room (we found that strange but it was what it was) but then he took a wind up timer and wound it up for 20 minutes ticking right beside us, very unprofessional. We understood we had minimum amount of time but to have a ticking timer? Not good customer service for sure especially when your spending hundreds of dollars for dresses.
Little expensive; don't understand why you can't return a dress like other stores? As long as it wasn't worn; tags on; and receipt. It's emotional to buy a wedding dress. Sometimes we buy emotionally and you should understand that. You want to look like a queen on your special day. Won't be coming back; sorry. I bought 2 MOB dresses at your store ; but I surely won't buy my simple wedding dress at David's place. Unless you change your return policy. Can't even return it if it's the next day! Not a lot of selection!! Only found 1 ... Not a lot of help around!!!
A lot of the favs I had saved weren't in store. It was terribly disappointing to plan for weeks ahead to try on certain styles and they aren't there or in my size. If I'm spending $1,000 or more on a dress I want to try it on first and not be limited to what you have on hand. Do people ever really win the free dress or bridesmaid gowns? Idk it felt a little gimmicky but the lady who was helping us was absolutely hands down fantastic. The ladies made up for the dingy store and lackluster selection. I would have loved to... read more
