To be honest.. the two girls at the front desk were rude.. one wears dark brown lipstick.. not sure if she is new but she was a snot and then the girl that came to help her was even worse. I spoke to a girl over the phone who was sweet as pie and I had booked two appointments bc when I went to look for my dress they allowed me to look at 3 dresses only and told me I'd have to come back if I didn't like the three I picked. Worse customer service I ever saw! Our consultant was over booked & didn't give us hardly any attention. Had us waste time trying on dresses that turned out to not be in the colors of the wedding, after we were told in the beginning they were. The store was so crowded there was no space for the bridal party, no where to sit down, and no help to get the dresses zipped up. Will never go there again.
Drove a good distance to the store and my daughter was told she was not allowed to try anything on without an appointment even though it does not specify this on the website.It has a spot to make an appointment but does not state it is mandatory. She found shoes she loved but they didnt have her size, she asked if another store would have them and could they check. Where do I even start. Being a bridesmaid myself over 5 times I know how the shopping experience should be. Well now that I was the bride I thought we would check out David's Mississauga. It was the absolute worst day ever. Upon arrival it was clear the store was complete chaos with 0 organization but thought lets just see. I went into my appointment with a list of dresses I liked from the website. Never once did my consultant look at the list or consider my wishes. Before I had a dress on, the consultant would tell me I would like or wouldn't like a dress. My consultant was also making nasty comments about my family's input. I felt very discouraged leaving my appointment and I just felt I was trying on dresses some random lady I never met wanted, not what I wanted. This review starts bad but turns good! I had two of the worst experiences of my life wedding dress shopping a year ago at this store. I had actually called corporate and complained because it was that bad, but also gave praise to Blair who is the only reason they got my business. My brand new dress came in I had waited 2 months for it. When I drove 2 hrs to try it on and possibly get to bring home I had noticed it had makeup on inside of dress like someone else had tried on my dress ! I was furious ! All they told me is they will order a new one (like they should have done in the first place! ) and mail it to me on june 30th . 2 months later ! so I didn't have to drive back up there ... anyways I did get a 10% discount on my dress when I go back and get it in June. I never write reviews but i feel compelled to today. Most of the bridesmaid dresses are over priced for the quality. But We all did end up falling in love with a 'special occasion/prom' dress that the lady kept saying we could order in multiple sizes and in the burgundy color. So all 5 of my girls tried them on in multiple sizes in the cream color. We get to the checkout time and she says um i have bad news they cant be ordered because the supplier is out of dresses. Worst experiences ever ! Every time I have go to this place there's a problem! The staff has no clue about anything there selling! I've been to this location over 20 times for my dress , the first problem! Than all my bridesmaids that tired order there dress has had problem they never had it on file which every time I make sure I have to retell them the right info!!!!
