found several of the dress brands at JCPennys, Macys and Nordstrom and for less money with alterations that won't take 4-6weeks for just a shorten the length. I don't like that they're nonrefundable if you buy off the rack with no alterations. That's just ridiculous

The stress this store caused me for my wedding was unbelievable. First, I went here for my dress for a certain consultant I had worked with before. She was great but another woman overstepped into our appointment and very aggressively and rudely convinced me that I needed a size 2. I was hardly a size 0.. I then had to pay over $500 in alterations because they knew I had no other choice. They messed up my alterations appointments. I didn't get my dress until the weekend before my wedding. I've had my dress come in 2 sizes too small less then 3 weeks away from my wedding day. Staff are prepared for me to pay full price for a dress off the rack that has foundation marks on it. The apologies felt fake and no explanation why my dress was ordered in that size. I feel like I've been pressured into waiting almost another two weeks for another size to come in (one week before my wedding). I dread going back �

My cousin and I went to the David's Bridal in Durham a few weeks ago. All of the wedding party came out except for 2 of the girls. We had Ashley as our consultant. She took our sizes and we tried on dresses. All seemed well until we found out she had entered the wrong dresses in the system and some of the girls were not on file as a part of the wedding party!! Going into a bridal shop, the bride should feel excited, and welcomed, something to look forward too... as soon as asked.my budget the lady who was "so called helping me" her facial expression changed and I was sent to a fitting room and left alone with no help, at this point the atmosphere was very unwelcoming and uncomfortable... she just left and was gone the majority of the time.. So this will be long but take your time to read it. For starters if i could i would give 0 stars. I have 7 bridesmaids and i went in less then a month ago and found a dress for my girls. My maid of honor paid for her dress that day. So i return home and went on the websight to show my other bridesmaids the dress and i see a promotion that says spend $175 and get $40 off. Extremely understaffed, our stylist was helping several other parties and we were trying on about 1 dress every 20 minutes just waiting around. We went to try to find our own selections and this older black lady told us to stop going thru the dresses and "messing them up" Wow we walked right out. Rude rude and she raised her voice to us and we had children with us and how she approached us was unacceptable. We went to a manager and the manager was useless and totally ditzy.
