We went to the Davids Bridal in the Chicago area. Because the Davids Bridal in the Quad Cities on Elmore Ave, the employees there were very rude to my niece. She had an appointment and went in to try on gowns. My niece is not a large girl but she is no size 9. We are talking about a girl who is size 12 to 14 depending on the cut of the dress. they rushed her along was not in the least attentive to her.
When the sales consultant tells you, you need to go up a size because the dresses on the rack are super stretched out, do NOT listen to them. Go with your gut feeling. I just learned the hard way. I have had to order two bridesmaid dresses from David’s this spring. For the first dress I ordered, the bride went back to the store and ordered it for me as I couldn’t make it that day. To be honest I had a worst bad experience today and WISH I would give no stars! I bought an expensive dress there and bridesmaids have bought there dress there as well and I couldn't even get the colors for my cake (fabric piece) like wtf I bought a dress and gave your business the lady up front was a bitch and deserved to get fired! You guys need to address this bullshit situation!
Terrible service. So rude and not helpful at all. They have no idea what they are doing!!
People working here were exceptionally rude ("honey, you might want to do some Pilates now to get ready for your dress") and kept handing my bridesmaids dresses that didn't come in the color we were asking for. Not just once, three times, like, "oh, I'm sorry this dress I had you try on that you've now fallen in love with doesn't come in the one color you told me you were looking for... Here, try on another dress that doesn't come in that color." Don't shop here.
Had a great buying experience but after that it all went to crap. They never called and let me know my dress was in I had to call then and come to find out it had been there for a month. Tried to make an alterations appointment and they could get me in but it was going to take four weeks to have my dress done and the next appointment they had was four weeks to the day from my wedding. I orders a dress months ago . I was told I would get a call or email when it came in.Well it sat there for 2 weeks . Everytime called to see if it came in was told it wasnt. There serve is terrible. .. just because I was a walkin I still want good service. .I will not shop here again. ..
I just stopped by this location (note the time stamp on this post). The doors were locked even though posted store hours (both online and on the physical door) said the store should be open until 7:00pm. I could clearly see employees inside and despite me knocking and gesturing to the posted store hours, no one came to the door. All I got were shrugs and eye rolls. I did not appreciate being treated like this as a customer. If store hours have changed, that edit should be made online and on the door.
