Different person every appointment, pulled 1 style for bride nothing else, mob dress does not match the color swatch or even description of color. Will never go any David's for any dress need and will tell the friends the same thing.
PSA: If you can avoid David's bridal in Clive, IA, DO IT! I have no clue what the other David's Bridal's are like, but I wouldnt dare try and figure it out! Bought my dress from there a year ago. Everything was perfect. Went in for my fitting in February as I just got married in March everything was perfect. Fit great. All the alterations were as planned. I was very happy. Picked up my dress the day before my wedding. Put on my dress the day if the wedding, and my heart sank. The eye hook in the back was ripped off so it wasn't as tight in the top as it should have been and to make matters worse it was ripped where the zipper and the material were attached. Unfortunately, I would have to give this specific David's Bridal branch 1 star... And that is only because I can not give it zero. I'm not typically one to write a review, especially a negative one, but I am composing this in hopes that no bride, bridesmaid or prom-goer seeking a special experience wastes their time, money or happiness at this location. Observation as a bridesmaid: The consultant was nice enough, but what is the point of having an appointment if they also give her two other brides at the same time, forcing her to run back and forth between all of them? The process felt rushed, especially when the bride told her she wasn't going to be purchasing anything in store (she wanted to sleep on a decision).
Bought my dress back in December - experience was ok. The lady was very nice but had two other groups she was helping so it was very slow going. I am now at the point for alterations but will do them closer to home since this store is 2 hours away. They knew this when I bought the dress and I was led to believe it would be no issue to get the straps I tried on and loved with the dress whenever I needed them. On my first visit there, the sales lady gave me a push up bra. I had no understanding of wedding dresses and how they should fit. We found the dress, made the fitting appointment, and all way well! I scheduled my second fitting appointment during prom season. I arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment. Went there a while ago for bridesmaid dresses for a wedding, the woman was rude as heck, only gave us one room for 6 girls to try on dresses! Constantly rolled her eyes and are rude comments, a few times insinuating one bridesmaid needed to lose weight. It was awful. The worst. All the bridesmaids made appointments at a different bridal shop to purchase their dresses there so Taylor wouldn't get commission. I was shocked and appalled. I went on another occasion and it was "okay". With a different bridal party. But not great.
