My 17 year old daughter went into David's Bridal to purchase a prom dress. Now excuse me if I'm wrong but they have help (which I have found to be VERY rude) to help fit you for the dress. Paid after alterations over $500 for this dress. With having to deal with issues from my 21 year old daughter's death (her sister) I was told only a adult can pick her dress up. #1 they sure let her pay for the dress at 17 yrs old #2 they sure charged more than what she paid for the dress in alterations at 17 but would let her pitch the dr... read more
David's Bridal has been the biggest disappointment of my entire wedding/dress planning experience. I would never go there again. They altered my dress... I asked for a SMOOTH sweetheart neckline and they literally bunched it together and sewed it up. If that wasn't enough now they are claiming that they absolutely will not steam or clean my dress because they have no record that I had it altered there and it's a liability ...I mean I guess I wouldn't want to claim that alteration work either...but really? They don't give 2 shits about you as a customer or a Bride or whatever you may be. Do not shop from this store. The worst experience I've had outta my whole wedding. The dress is the special part. Ugh
If I could put a negative number I would. All bridesmaid dresses had to be reordered due to defects and then lace needed to be fixed. First dress that came in was already worn: deodorant stains by armpits and boning in dress defective and it literally wasnt until employees examined dress did they agree with my claims about dress being worn. Very disappointed. We had to go back to store 4 times to finally get dresses in decent condition. Ugh.. Definitely a frustrating experience.
5 years I've been forced to go to this location for lack of other choices, and every person is rude EVERY SINGLE TIME. For 5 years I have yet to meet a nice person who is actually helpful.
I have had the worst experience trying to get my bridesmaids dresses! They cancelled 3 orders & didn't tell them until they went to get their dresses. My wedding is Saturday & I still have a bridesmaid with no dress & they told her it MIGHT be in Saturday! Not to mention, they didn't hold the dresses I asked them to & when I went with my bridesmaids, I was the one running around pulling dresses!
We were there last night and had horrible service! No seamstress on site, they had left for day, would not hold dress till this morning till a seamstress was available and it was last dress like it there. I asked about return policy and all sales are final. So we could not buy it to assure it would not be sold but did not know if a seamstress could alter it at this point either.
