Absolute worst experience I have ever had in a bridal shop! My maid of honor accidentally booked the wrong location and thankfully when we were able to be accommodated at this location. Just when I thought they would make my day better they made it worse. The assistant that "greeted" us never actually greeted or assisted us at any point during our appointment. I went to David's bridal with my friend today, along with other bridal party members, we were they about an hour and a half when we were told our bridal consultant needed to go to lunch by who I assume was a manager. We weren't offered anymore help, we were told she would take our sizes and we could call if we wanted to order anything. I took this as a you need to go, we are done helping you. A handful of people are actually nice, patient and respectful. Most of them rush you and are rude. Not considering this is your BIG day and you want it to be perfect
My fiance and all of the women in my family drove two and a half hours to have a great experience trying to find a dress. But the people there didn't help her at all. They were rarely around and they didn't help her find she what she was looking for. They ruined something that should have been memorable.
Back in June 2015 I went into this store with 3 of my 5 bridesmaids to look at and try on dresses. I found the dress I wanted my girls in and recorded the dress, color, and size info on the form handed to me by the worker. They assured me that they would enter my info in their system so that way my bridesmaids, who live all over the states, would be able to easily go into the store closest to them and order their dress. How about the sales lady lies to you and says your dress will be in on time. I call to check on it, first it can't be found, 2nd I find out I was lied to and it wouldn't be ready till a month after my wedding. They sell me the floor model. Come to find out that's not the right color. Do they care to work with me or make me happy, no. I just get I can credit your account. I went to the Strongsville location about a week ago, expected the same great experience but instead as soon as I walked in I was greeted with unprofessionalism and rudeness. I was told by various people that you could be measured here, as I was a week before in Strongsville , and they refused to do it here at this location, Very upset.
You can tell that you're ordering from a giant corporation when you shop here. Your not treated like most local bridal shops will treat you. I ordered my maid of honour dress, shoes and sash all from Davids Bridal as per what my Bride had wanted. When each item arrived, they didn't call me, they called her, so that she could call me, and they told me for each item (that all arrived at different times) that I had 5 days to pick it up or they would send it back.
