Went today for my daughters fitting and had an appointment for myself to get a “mother of the Bride dress” so her appointment was at 2 mine was at 3 .. after I got over the sticker shock of $400.00 for alterations I checked in again at the front desk letting them know we were done with her fitting appointment. When I went to David’s Bridal a little over a week ago (Friday, March 1st), I was extremely disappointed with my experience. My consultant was Hannah K. - she was terrible. Not only did she take on two appointments at once, but she was pushy and rude (not only to my family, but to the other bride and her family as well). Because she took on two appointments at once, my aunt had to help me in and out of dresses, clip them, etc. I will not recommend David’s to anyone. No stars ⭐️ When we went there with daughter they helped find the wedding dress but when we asked for help on the brides maid dress they got cold and rude and in the end when we went to pay for dress they were rude asked to see manager they refused to get her said she was busy in the back if it wouldn’t have been for my daughter loving this dress we would have told them to stuff it but now karma since they filed bankruptcy they did it to themselves bye bye David bridal 😂
Definitely would avoid this location at all costs. Didn't realize that you had to make an appointment in advance as the website stated that walk ins were welcome. When we got there an associate said they had an appointment, but after talking to the manager said it was no longer available as they had a stylist going home early. Huge disappointment after driving 3.5 hours to look at dresses. The rack of dresses that you can try on without a consultant is pathetic to say the least. I shared my budget with the "consultant" and she continued to bring me dresses that far exceeded my price range and vision. Then I received an email saying, I was chosen as a "Bride of the month", that included complimentary Mary Kay spa event for myself and bridesmaids..That was a SCAM!!!!!.a girl that worked there was a Mary Kay consultant and was using this to book personal parties for her personal business!! so tacky..would not recommend them and thank God, I purchased an amazing dress elsewhere, that was less concerned ... read more
Their bridal consultants have way too many brides at one time so you don’t get one on one attention to find your perfect dress. We ended up going through the racks ourselves after she disappeared for 20 minutes. They also never asked price range, just started pulling random dresses. Didn’t buy my dress here
I went here with the bridal party for my cousin's wedding, and even though we had an appointment, we still had to wait at least 30min, maybe longer, to get an assistant & fitting room. ONE fitting room for ALL of us to rotate into. There are no mirrors in the room, so you have to go out into the hall to look at every dress, and it was unbelievably crowded in the fitting area! The consultant was very impersonal and made comments that were not at all encouraging to brides. She looked like she hated her job, and I felt rushed through the entire process. Picking out a dress for your wedding is supposed to be a fun and exciting process, instead I left feeling very frustrated and annoyed.
Was not a good experience at all, the consultant was horrible, would not recommend David's Bridal at all!!!
