My daughter made an appointment for yesterday at the GREENWOOD, IN Davids Bridal. We were a few min late, but of course we called ahead telling them that we were in traffic, and would be there as soon as we could. Upon arrival, we were all standing there for several min while Alicia filled out paperwork. I thought ONLINE REGISTRATION was adequate, but apparently not. This place is a joke. Messed up my sister's wedding dress order, and then the same girl ordered the completely wrong bridesmaid dress for me. They acted like they didn't care at all. Will never recommend this place and will never go back.
I went to try on wedding dresses I told her what my amount to spend was she gave me dresses over my amout so ok I went a head tried them on then she was helping another women ok that's fine but I don't like she was gone from me a long time she told the other women she's pretty and not me too. she got mad I was takeing to long tried to make me take anything. I hope I get my dress delivered to the right place with the right style size and color! Because everything else went wrong! Forgot our appointment, we were only initially given one dressing room for 7 people until the brides mother complained and we got a second one. And then forgot we came apparently because they emailed the bride asking why we'd missed our appointment. It was super silly.
My best friend is getting married. We had two appointments, first being the bridal. The consultant didn't listen very well. My friend kept telling her she looked boxy, didn't like traditional etc. Annndd she kept pulling same kind of dresses. The consultant didn't even allow my friend to pick out the dresses she would even want to try on. Told her she wasn't allowed to look. Luckily I'm have an awesome group of bridesmaids and they all agreed on a dress and color which helped. However the wrong style number was written down which was discovered when one of the girls went to order and on top of that they seem to have lost all the information including the dress we picked..... second time I've had trouble first time regarding a bridesmaid dress I had purchased myself.
If i had not already fallen in love with my dress i would have walked out with out it and just got my money back. I was never measured for a size of the right dress i was just pushed to the back burner.... but it gets far far worse then that. before they ordered my dress they would not even measure me to verify it fits.... said it was put in that way and cant change it now. so i got a call my dress was in, guess what IT DOES NOT FIT!!!!!!!! I was told that i needed to take the dress with me so that alterations can fix it.... read more
It's not a good idea to just put brides in a bra and slip and b keep opening the door for whoever to see. That is extremely rude and embarrassing and uncomfortable. At least invest in some robes for your customers. I had 2 men standing in front of my dressing room as my stylist kept opening the door to bring in dresses. Unacceptble!!!!! Please fix this because the prices are decent and it's a lovely place! I probably won't be going back considering my experience. I don't want to be embarrassed or exposed again.
This place is a joke. My first experience there was when I was shopping for a beach wedding dress, ready to buy, & they wouldn't let me try anything on because I didn't have an appt. So I proceeded to buy one down the street. My second experience was making an appt for my cousin to try dresses on, we had to search high & low for an associate when we needed one & most of them were socializing & not busy.
