I went in there needing to buy one more bridesmaids dress for my wedding coming up in 5 months, so we clearly did not have enough time... We were told we could only look because they were booked up with appointments. But after a very brief beg and eye batting Emma (I think that was her name) squeezed us in with Nancy. Most awesome experience ever, Cricket truly worked her way to finding the perfect dress for me! I felt like such a beautiful bride, the ones you see in movies as a little girl & dream of looking like one day! Although I never thought I'd be fit enough or pretty enough, I was totally wrong, because I'm Beyond excited for my wedding now, feel flawless & can't wait to see what my husband feels when he sees me! We were greeted the minute we walked through the door. The saleswoman was wonderful, she helped find my perfect dress. I explained I saw one online, she did not only pull up the site, she went hunting it in the store. The dress needed to be ordered and was available in 2 days
I originally bought my dress at the York store and the manager, Mindy was very involved in my appointment. After leaving with a dress, I had 2nd thoughts. I searched online and found "the perfect dress for me". It was very similar to what I purchased but, had all of the qualities I really wanted. I never thought I'd be getting married. I never had a wedding dress in mind. I went there. Picked out several I thought I might like and within a couple minutes I put on the perfect dress and was in tears. The lady that helped me was so kind and patient and I appreciate her getting me in and out of all the dresses. I had a great time and bought THE dress in less than an hour.
Went to buy a wedding dress and maybe a bridesmaid dress at Harrisburg location. I was extremely skeptical being in my late 40's and not size 8. I was thrilled to find everything I needed and Cricket my consultant was fun, offered great advice and really took her time to get us the perfect dresses. This shop definitely has something for everyone and at great prices.
I like the fact that David's has dresses for every budget. It's nice that they have you schedule an appt. However, when you schedule an appt for an hr and a half and start out feeling hopeful and that you are the consultants priority only to realize once you tell the consultant your budget (and it's not over $500), you are put on the back burner, it didn't feel too great.
