The only good part of my experience at David's Bridal was finding my dress. But the alterations department does not know how to alter a dress right. I will be taking my dress to another alterations shop before the wedding for my final fitting. I will not be bringing it back here. I think I was over charged for my alterations as well. You have someone tell you when you pick out your dress that alterations are free and so is the dress cleaning then when you call and tell them that, they say otherwise. I have been a bridesmaid at least 8 times and most of them required a trip to this David's Bridal. Every single time, I leave a little angrier than when I arrive. The service is next to nothing, there is no enthusiasm. This is supposed to be a joyous experience/occasion and David's has yet to deliver that. They will never receive my own business when I am the lucky lady.

I bought everything at this store and service was great. Until one of my bridesmaids went to pick up her dress and it had been smashed and crumpled during shipping. No fault of hers or mine. However, the store refused to correct the issue without charging us 20-25 dollars for steaming. It wasn't our fault and the dress should have been made presentable before pick up. Why would a dress be shipped to a store to avoid such a problem and then the store won't even offer to help. No thank you that is sorry customer service. Wish ... read more
