I made an appointment at David's Bridal in Erie, PA since that was one of my only options and that is where everyone around here goes. I have a certain style that I wanted and I wanted to see if I like any of the dresses that they had in that style. I made an appointment for a Monday at 1:30pm at the David's Bridal in Albany, NY. When I walk in I am greeted and let them know that I had an appointment for 1:30 and gave my name. I stood at the front of the store for 20 minutes before being brought to the back where I was told I would be helped. I then waited another 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged. I bought a bridesmaids dress from David's bridal and it had to be ordered and shipped to the store. When I picked it up it fit fine but was really wrinkly, way too wrinkled for me to wear to the wedding. So I called and asked if they would steam it for me and they said yes but that it would cost $15. I don't think I should have to pay more to make the dress wearable. I just bought a brand new dress that I can't wear until I give them more money to steam it? Very unhappy with this store.

Do not visit the David's Bridal on Elston Ave in Chicago Il. The store managers are incompetent and lie. I went to pick up my bridesmaid dress in December. I was given the wrong dress and had to drive back to the store to return it. When I returned it they blamed the mix-up on corporate. Two days later after I complained to customer service and the assistant manager calls and tells me the dress is at the store. She tells me that they can ship it out next day or two day. We went to the David's Bridal in Sioux Falls, SD to shop for bridesmaid dresses. My daughter had made an appointment earlier in the week, so they knew we were coming. I guess I was quite surprised at how busy they were when we walked in, but it was a Saturday. However, as our time there went on, we realized they obviously OVERBOOKED for the day. Told them my budget for my wedding dress and they didn't even care. Showed me dresses double my budget, without me knowing prices. Fell in love with a dress, and as I said I loved it and thought this was it, they told me the price. Again, double my budget. Ended up buying the dress(and sash, veil, jewelry and flower girl dress), just got married Saturday and before our first picture my sash had lost a jewel. Now that all of my girls have their dresses and I no longer have anything to do with the establishment, I can write my review. By far some of the worst customer service I've ever seen and WORST treatment of a bride ever. It started with just even going in to see bridesmaid dresses. I specifically called and said do you have dress XYZ in stock I want to come see it. "Ya sure". Get there, no dress. Oh that dress isn't due in stores until January. Um ok. I am extremely disappointed in this company. The day I tried on dresses, I picked out a beautiful dress and was very happy with it, and the person who helped me find it was wonderful. However, it was all downhill from there... I had ordered some accessories online and when they came, they were garbage. Their return policies are terrible...they don't have one. They won't allow you to pick up your dress at another David's Bridal Shop unless you are willing to pay for shipping. This was all together the worst experience I've had with a bridal shop. Do yourself a favor and go to a shop that actually cares about their customers. David's doesn't!
