I AM JUST AMAZED AT WHAT TRANSPIRED TODAY AT DAVIDS BRIDAL IN CHARLESTON WV.... MY DAUGHTER BOUGHT HER WEDDING DRESS FROM THERE AND WENT TO PICK IT UP TODAY FROM BEING ALTERED . WHEN SHE ARRIVED AND TRIED THE DRESS ON WHERE THEY HAD TO PUT CUPS IN LOOKED HORRIBLE. IT WAS DENTED AND VERY NOTICEABLE. SHE ALSO NOTICED THAT THE DRESS WAS DIRTY. I am a bridesmaid and very disappointed with the lack of consideration for the customer. I went to look for my dress, there was only one dress in the designated color but it was in such poor condition, it had holes and stains in the front and sweat stains inside and the back side. They didn't clean the dress. They offered 20% discount which is not equivalent to the damages, that is not acceptable. I purchased my bridesmaids shoes from this company. WORST DECISION EVER! RUN run far away, and buy payless if you have to! They not only did not send me the shoes, they sent me someone else's likely very important order instead! With the receipt in the box reading the six pairs of shoes. I instead got a bridal belt and purse I did not order! (triple checked the receipt). I personally had a very good experience getting my bridal gown at David's Bridal. I actually appreciated that my consultant was working with other clients while working with me. It gave me time to look at myself without added pressure. I will say I gave her a budget that she didn't quite stick to while showing me dresses at first. My first question with each dress is, "how much is this?" And she would say "Oh, it's a great price..." and proceed to tell me it's a little outside my budget. My David's Bridal experience in Toledo, Ohio was a very good experience, because that's where I purchased my dress. I'm getting married at a church, so I explained to them prior that anything see through near the breast needs to be altered with fabric and they said that's fine. So I purchased my dress and went to a David's Bridal in Lansing MI(where I was living) so they can alter it. They told me they couldn't alter it because they can't change the designer's style. DO NOT EVER ORDER A PRODUCT OFF THE WEBSITE! WHILE IN ATTEMPT TO EXCHANGE A PRODUCT, I CANNOT REACH ANYONE THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND I EMAILED CUSTOMER SERVICE FOUR TIMES AND STILL RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN FROM THEIR COMPANY!

David's Bridal was the worst place out of everywhere I went to look at dresses. We went in just wanting to look around and see what they had, not really wanting to try on a bunch of stuff. We didn't make an appointment and they were rude about that. When we got in, my family went and looked around at dresses while I filled out the paperwork. The consultant got mad at them for that. While the consultants mean well, their vendors are not equipped to provide quality service. Every dress online I was interested in I was not able to order (discontinued), the only dress available would have arrived THREE DAYS before the wedding. No one there was willing to offer any options for me and my business was clearly not valued. Highly dissatisfied with the whole experience, I would highly recommend going somewhere else to save your time.

I arrived early to my appointment (Saturday around noon). The store was busy and chaotic. We signed in at the front desk, they acknowledged that they had a print out of my favorite dresses (completed online). We had to wait 30 minutes before someone was available to help us and they called us over an intercom like at a restaurant.
