There was a male associate at the wolfcreek location in memphis who was very helpfull and yet my sale had to go to a young lady who had the personality of a log. Long story short, i ordered my dress and it would take 6 months to come in. My guest book, flower basket, and ring pillow came in the wrong color. Pray for dear life that nothing goes wrong because there are NO REFUNDS!!!!! The store manager literally flew in on a broom with a tall pointy hat!!!!

Buying a wedding dress is supposed to be a once in a lifetime experience. You should feel like a princess, special, catered to, but at David's Bridal this is not the case. I went looking for a dress with my mom and aunts on a Saturday, since that was the only day everyone could go. It was a ZOO!!! You feel almost "herded" around the store. I went into David's Bridal in El Paso TX, with my maid of honor and was dismayed at how we were treated. The girls in the front desk were very rude and catty; as well as other associates who offered no assistance at all. They proceeded to tell us that they did not know how long it would take to assist us as appointments were priority over walk-ins. However did not offer to schedule an appointment for me. David's Bridal is a pathetic excuse for a bridal business. The Indianapolis (Castleton) location is very poorly managed with rude customer service representatives who are more interested in making a fast sale then helping someone with a problem. I waited on hold for 20 minutes for someone the lady at the front desk to tell me she was too busy helping customers in the store and answering the phone to work on my problem. We purchased 2 bride's maids dresses for David's and one of them the zipper came apart an hour before the wedding. after much distress a professional seamstress could not fix the very cheap zipper. It was not put in the dress correctly and it was plastic zipper meant to hold up a strapless dress. Very poor!!!

I am 64 yrs old and this is my second marriage and I wanted it to be nice but simple, as for as picking out my dress that went very well. My daughter needed a dress also and my granddaughter was the flowers girl and getting their dresses was the problem. I am the mother of the bride and found several beautiful dresses at a David's Bridal in San Antonio. The saleswoman was very friendly and helpful at first. For some reason her demeanor changed when my daughter arrived to help me make a choice. When I asked the price of the dress and then refused alterations, she was all business. No more friendly saleswoman. The charge for alterations was $120 above the cost of the dress. Literally the worst place to do business at. I went there to try on wedding dresses, and were basically forced to put on dresses that I was not interested in. The lady assisting me, would not bring out the dresses I asked for only because she thought I might "like" something else, something that she had in mind. Would never refer anyone to Davids Bridal. High pressure for a sale. Was told it would take 6 months to get a dress, only took 6 weeks. Called back to get dress steamed for wedding day, was told it was purchased to long ago to press for free. Gave me a $40.00 price for steaming. Seemed unfair and was told due to alterations, would not steam dress anyway, needed to be fair to the other customers. What does that means? Did not understand why they would not press out the wrinkles that came with the dress from the packing.
