I had a horrible experience with David's Bridal. I had heard their customer service was bad, but their prices were good. I thought the price was important .... The service was bad enough that I would pay the extra money and go with another store/designer if i did it again. The store where we buy the wedding dress from should not stress the bride out. It is suppose to be a fun experience!! Planning a wedding is stressful enough!!

The dresses are beautiful, but the staff is rude. They told me that my order for shoes and a veil would be ready by March 9th. I got a call on March 1st saying that the order is ready for pick up. When I called to let them know I was coming a few days later for pick up and alterations, they told me I had to come in today! Apparently, my order had been there all along and they will not hold it any longer. They had the guts to say it was my fault! I received no calls or anything. how do you change the company of your credit card holder and not tell your consumers? so what you're saying is i have a card that i can't use anymore? oh thanks! does it get any less professional than that?! terrible exchange/return policy too. i ordered my wedding dress in june. the date for the dress arrival has been pushed back twice since then, not to mention they ordered me the wrong style dress the day i got fitted because they sales associate that helped us in the store was a dumb A#$.. i'm glad i'm an early planner a... read more

I utilized the Mission Valley and the La Mesa Locations. I prefer the La Mesa location. My bridesmaids ordered from the Mission Valley one. They did an okay job with helping us out. Depending on which sales lady helped us out that day, the level of service varied. Some sales ladies were exceptionally helpful and courteous, while some were just okay. I ordered a dress off-line for a military courthouse wedding. They did not have it in stock and canceled my dress via email. They told me my account would NOT be charged that basically it didn't even happen. My account was charged and it took them over a WEEK to fix this is issue with me calling every single day. They over drew our account and knew that every day it took that it was charging us. They told us it took four days just to get an answer from the financial department. my wedding was originally out of the country but due to some family issues i had to make it in chicago and plan it in 3mths. I went to the David's Bridal in Roseville, MN. The first appointment went great and the consultant made me feel like the most important person in the place, her name is Teaya. But the next 3 appointments only got worse each time. this last one when my mother, sister and I got there they did not know what was going on with me, I made the appointment for bridesmaids dresses and maybe alterations. I was happy with my dress, although my consultant was nice she wasn't exactly the most helpful at suggesting different dress styles. She was very interested in having me buy accessories and jewelry etc even though I specifically told her many times that I wasn't in need of anything from there. They did stress to me that they would steam/press my dress for free BUT there is a huge caveat they do not disclose--you have to get your dress altered by them otherwise they will not steam it.
