The staff was rude and unattentive!
It was such a great experience shopping for my wedding dress at David's Bridal. My consultant was wonderful, helping me pick out a wonderful dress, helping me try them all on and even getting a brand new one from the back that wasn't even on the floor yet to try on. That ended up being the one i purchased. The value was fantastic and the dress was beautiful.
Incredible Staff. I purchased my dress 5 months before the event. The final fitting was 5 weeks before the wedding. I hired a personal trainer after the final fitting, just to tone my arms and reduce my abs. However, 1 week prior to the wedding, I tried the dress on and it did not fit. Despite working out with a trainig 3 times a week and doing hundreds crunches, I gained inches or mass in my abs. The dress no longer fit. As a bridesmaid twice before I had grown accustomed to David's Bridal and I think they have a good selection, so I had no problem going there for my wedding dress. I did find the dress I loved at the first fitting. But since it is a big store and a big company, of course personal attention is lacking, because of this often times they are not very flexible. Excellent Customer service. Was able to call ahead and get an appointment last minute. Hours are decent. My wedding was in Pennsylvania, so all my brides maids got their dresses at the David's Bridal there.
Great People To Be Around.
David's Bridal in Rockville is tooo small plus always busy. The Sale person will push you about getting the dress.
My girls got their dress and shoes from this David�s Bridal location. When going to get pick up their shoes (we had them dyed champagne to match dresses) they all had a different color. The reason we dyed the shoes, is so they would have the same color. When we brought this to their attention, they were not willing to fix it as it's the dye and can show up differently on different shoes. All the shoes were the same, so this was not an option for me. Not bad for a chain store. They do have lots of selection, so that's helpful. Their sales are also pretty good, as is the discount for bridal party dresses if the bride gets hers there. It is also convenient to be able to have out of town members of the bridal party get measured at a location near them. The store, however, is always crowded and don't expect extremely personal service.
