I had only used maybe three times and I was required to honor my commitment to my probation officer so I came to Daymark last Thursday and been either in the lobby or on a recliner. I went to Daymark for over a year because I had severe anxiety and severe depression. I did not learn any coping skills while I was there to help me manage my depression and anxiety. I was required to do weekly group therapy once a week In order to get one on one therapy once a month. The only thing we did in group therapy was set around a table and get updates from everybody on what had happened since the week before when we were there. Chad Blankenship one of the psychiatrist at daymark in Rockingham. Was rude and should not be working in this field and needs to be fired. The man insinuated I was seeking pills which I was not. I was actually looking for help. He also had to nerve to ask if my boyfriend passed away from opiates and this smiled and giggled about it. I’ve reported him to the office manager and I’ll be making a complaint with the medical board tomorrow morning. If he is your psychiatrist I highly recommend switching to someone else. Never come to Daymark if you are in a crisis. I did not have a good experience.
