Today I brought my son, 1st impressions are so important, Daymark in Albemarle has THE BEST customer service, professionalism, hospitality that I have seen in a very long time. We are new to NC and the Staff here made us feel VERY comfortable, offered water, snacks, made sure I was comfortable while waiting. I highly recommend this establishment to whomever may need the assistance.
Horrible, took forever to get me back there. The front desk lady is laughing with her coworkers while I sat here for 3 hours straight in the chair just for them to tell me there’s 5 people in front of me while there’s no one in the lounge with me. Horrible customer care and the experience was just horrendous in general.
Need help with mental health issues but can't receive the depression medication I need because they "can't prescribe certain medications". It's basically a junkie recovery place where junkies have a place to talk about feelings. If you really need help with actual mental health issues, I'd advise to not come here
Aside from the ideological difference of opinions for recovery that i have with some of the policies this place is great. Stephanie my counselor is second to none. She adds a very personal hand in the recovering process. A no bullshit, no holds bar approach that many recovering addicts need. In very thankful for my opportunity i have to share my process with Stephanie and staff. Keep up the good work.
Unprofessional staff, with an unwelcoming and rude receptionist. The itinerant counselor who does in-person intake assessments refused to reveal her credentials or last name when asked and only identified herself as "I'm Stephanie, the clinician." I'm a health care provider who mentioned Daymark in Albemarle NC to many patients over the years. I am horrified that they treat people that way, and would never send them there again.
