We upgraded our furnace to a Heat Pump system, which gives us the option of having both heat and AC. Dave and crew were great from start to finish. We recently embarked on a whole-home electrification project, installing solar and backup battery power. Dave coordinated with the solar company and helped us choose the right heat pump system for our drafty house. We didn't believe it was possible, but our living room is now warm and toasty! We had a great experience with Dave and his team! We had a gas furnace replaced with a heat pump (so now we have air conditioning too!). It was all so easy. Dave thoroughly discussed our options of heat pump - he was extremely knowledgeable of the products, how to employ them, the advantages and disadvantages of each. Dave and his team were super. They put in a dual zone Mitsubishi heat pump, replacing gas furnaces, and a State heat-pump water heater, replacing a gas water heater. They were thorough and professional and fast. Their work was excellent. They worked well with the city of Carmel to get needed permits. And they were kind enough to indulge my desire to make everything look perfect. Pricing was reasonable, which I know because I had the same units put in a second home in CT. I couldn’t be happier. I would like to acknowledge the great service I received from DB Heating & Cooling in Monterey County. The gas furnace in our home would not start so I decided to check for any loose wiring before I called in the professionals. I found a wire melted in the center and spliced it which solved the problem but the furnace would not start the next day.
