I'm doing three stars as an average for my experience with DBS. 5 stars for the work crews who came out to do the work on our basement. They were kind, they did great work, and they kept us in the loop about what was happening. Our basement looks great! 1 star for the office staff/scheduling/communication. I had to call the office several times in order to get the next steps of the project completed. The two young men that did the work were friendly and apparently quite well trained. It rained lightly after they applied the cement sealer to our driveway which caused it to turn cloudy. They said it was not supposed to do that so they immediately power washed our driveway and re-applied the sealer. I count that as increasingly rare, conscientious service. All in all, as noted above, they deserve the 5 stars.

Concrete lifting work I had done looks great! The contractor from DBS talked through everything he was planning to do, then did what he said, cleaned up after himself, and then reviewed everything he had done before he left, and took time to answer my questions. Overall it was a great experience!

We had a terrible experience with DBS. Almost every part of the project had to be done twice, including ordering and installing the incorrect wall panels, the wrong floor, and wrong hardware. The closet doors were installed upside down. The floor wasn’t leveled after pipes were dug, so we have a permanently lumpy floor that’s uncomfortable to walk on despite many attempts to repair it.
