Had insulation added to my attic. DBS tried to tap a line of credit without my authorization. Contacted me multiple times about getting the deposit before it was even due, but it was up to me to contact them to actually get the work scheduled - two months later. Insulation installer lost the keys to his truck so it sat in my driveway for three days, over the weekend, blocking my garage. Very satisfied with my experience with DBS. From the initial estimate to the finished product, it was a simple and smooth process. They polyjacked our front steps, as well as the back step out of the garage. They also reaffirmed the garage slab with the same process. The cleanup was great, with little notice they were there. I had three bids scheduled to address the concerns with collapsing, shearing, and bowing basement block I uncovered when doing the demo on the basement walls of the 100 year old home I purchased. Badger Basement came but never produced a bid, and DBS and another MN based company did give me comparable bids. Both field sales reps were thorough, explained everything, had the same solutions (steel beams to shore up the walls) and when the bids came, they were within $1,000ish of one another. THIS IS A WARNING DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY: If I could give negative stars, I would. My partner and I made a deposit to durastone our back patio. Making a $3,800 deposit in 7/3/2025 And given a date of 9/6/2025 for the job to begin, and finished 9/16. 9/6 foam was installed under the patio in preparation for the larger job. 9/16 came, and no one showed up, nor did we receive a phone call informing us OR to reschedule.
