I decided to stop coming here. The service has deteriorated. Three incidents over the past year: (1) Pushy hygienist trying to push treatment I said no to. (2) Then a front office member insisting I provide insurance proof even I had been coming there over 15 years and my insurance had not changed. Melissa does a wonderful job with teeth cleaning. She’s very thorough and explains what she’s doing in your mouth the whole time she’s working on you. It was very comfortable as they are doing the cleaning. They are constantly suctioning any water in your mouth. I highly recommend them. If you have a little one, they also do pediatric dentistry and they have a Small Place area for the ability to keep your children busy while you are having a treatment. I have been going to the Pleasanton office for a few years now. The dental hygienists are consistently amazing. They walk you through what they are doing and why they are doing it while providing great tips and tricks for continued teeth health. Highly recommend.
I have NEVER in all the years I have had teeth had such a comprehensive exam. They checked my bite and had me manipulate my jaw in different positions and diagnosed me with TMJ! As I got up my vertigo, I have been suffering with since November, hit me. Dr Fernando was incredibly caring and shared with me that my vertigo was directly related to my TMJ that NO other dentist has checked for or mentioned! I am in awe of their attention to detail and thoroughness. I am excited to get all of my issues corrected.
The entire office is very friendly and very helpful. They try to make sure the patients understand the process of cleaning and they explain what they do before they do it. They also explain different areas or stuff to watch out for and to pay attention to, such as the difference between plac and tarter, gum health, and good and bad bacteria in the mouth.
