This review is from my personal interaction, it shouldn’t impede w anyone else. Any other persons interaction could be better. She has very good ideas, however when handling a special needs person incased w trauma, I feel her approach could be improved. Get to know your patient, figure out what works for that person, figure out how to work an idea into the conversation n know when to pull back cause it’s not working, before you put ideas n changes into place or request to do when you only had 3 sessions w new patient. I have seen Ms Maxwell on and off since 2021. She is an amazing therapist! She gives you techniques to utilize between sessions, holds you accountable for your progress, and is extremely sympathetic when processing difficult topics. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to focus on anxiety, grief, and trauma.
