Over the decades, I've had many colonoscopies. All of them have been done by Dr Mark Stern. He listens and then offers his knowledgeable insight and wisdom. His staff are courteous, efficient, and respectful. This last colonoscopy was the easiest and smoothest. Title: Complete waste of time and zero communication ⭐️ I really wanted to like this clinic since it’s right by me in Decatur, but my experience at DeKalb Gastroenterology Associates was super frustrating from start to finish. I got referred here for ongoing stomach pain, but honestly, I’ll be going somewhere else to actually get my procedure done. From the receptionist to the prep area, the care here was exceptional. A nurse attending another patient stopped to bring me a warm blanket when I was cold; that says it all. My own nurse Jasmine was amazing. The whole team exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was great. Asking all the questions to confirm. Checking and double checking. Dekalb Gastroenterology Associates is the best! I just had my required check up done by them. Everything went well. The are very professional, friendly and on time . My doctor Simpson is very caring. He took his time and explained every aspect of the exam to me. In fact, the entire staff, including the front desk personnel, the nurses and the anesthesiologist were very kind to me. I highly recommend them to any one in need of any care related to their services.

The Dekalb Endoscopy Center exceeded my expectations today. They are very well organized, and the people are professional and kind. I have the best gastroenterologist in Dr. Mark Stern, who did my endoscopy. I had to visit many other gastro doctors before my retina specialist recommended him. Dr Stern helped me during a difficult colon illness and was able to make a diagnosis. He is great. He also has the best, most helpful assistant in Sheri Steed.
