Sales manager is a cheapskate! Doesn’t know how to make reasonable offers on trades, when 20k is being put down on a new lease and making 5k off trade. You will be dealing with iam, cheap as they come, he’ll nickel and dime your trade. Know what you have and it’s worth or go somewhere else. Denny has gone downhill. The service department is dishonest and will literally lie about what they tell you, so they may look good for their supervisors . Cannot trust what anybody beneath management to actually do their job. Management is only concerned with what the computers say, after data is entered by staff. They then question my integrity, a disabled combat veteran in limited funds. If the management is willing to cut maintenance by 50% in apology, it says loads about their service. I had left a 5 star review previously with the service department at Denny Menholts. I have called in 4 times today with no results. The first time I spent 12 minutes on hold for service and ended up being disconnected. I called back and spoke with a gal and left a message asking for a call back, she said she would give a note to service. I had no return call by 3 hours later. Biggest snakes in the business, anybody that needs details they can pm me. My biggest fear, is that someone with less knowledge falls for their stuff. Read before u sign anything with them, if u have not purchased several cars in ur life. Bring someone very knowledgeable. What scares me, is that their games probably work on some people.
I DO NOT recommend this place. There was a man that asked us if we needed help, we said we were just looking and then he goes off and grabs a set of keys for the car. We told him we were on a time crunch and he said “well, you came onto our lot”. I would DEFINITELY recommend hertz car sales right across the street if you want a nice, friendly experience.
We spoke to a representative after breaking down and was told they could repair our GMC only to pull it into the shop and be told they wouldn’t be able to get the part we needed. We had to be towed to a local automotive shop which was much more friendly and helpful. Bottom line, make sure they can actually repair damages to your vehicle before buying here!
Will not honor the GM healthcare worker/first responder discount during a time when we deserve it the most. Every other Chevy dealership I have talked to is more than happy to honor the discount on ALL their vehicles. Bye bye Denny Menholt.
