I absolutely love the instructors You learn so much in a short time, they create a friendly environment. I really recommend this school to anyone who wants to pursue a career in dental assisting
Have been looking into this program for 2 years and finally built up the courage to apply and so far it's been great! I am only 4 weeks in and already learned so much and the hands on is great! All the instructors are great and take their time to teach if you don't understand the material. Worth the time and money!
I'm currently 4 weeks into the program and have learned so much! The instructors are very helpful and really make sure you understand all the material. It's fast paced but as long as you put in effort you'll do great. So glad I found this program. I encourage anyone else looking into dental assisting to try it out.
I recently attended HDAS and it was such a great experience and learning process. The stuff you learn whether it's book work or hands on gets you prepared for dentistry. The instructors were very nice and helpful they honestly care a lot about their students. I would definitely recommend this school for anyone looking into dental assisting.
As a former student i can only say the best about HDAS, it was a great experience that helped me refresh my previous knowledge about dentistry, all teachers are amazingly caring, and they put all their vast experience on your hands to make you succeed as an Assistant. Even after you graduate they make everything in their hands to help you find the right Dental Office for you.
This school is not a good place to get your education. The teachers show you very little. The course is only 10 Saturdays and you learn very little. The cost of this short program is over $3,000 so it is very high. Its just very very weak. They move extremely fast and the practice is very short for each student because you are taking turns. To get hired as a dental assistant you must be well prepared and know what you are doing. And I almost forgot to mention, they have old equipment like 1970, 1980 equipment to take x-rays.... read more
Business response:
Hi Carolina, We are sorry to hear your experience with us prompted such a negative review. Our program is intentionally fast-paced in order to get our students into the work force quickly. We try to work with students both inside and outside class to keep them up to speed and provide all the resources necessary for your success. Regarding your comment on outdated equipment, for a long time we believed the experience and usage of developing x-rays with a Peri-Pro was important for a foundational understanding of x-ray proc... read more
