About a month ago, I had two crowns placed right before Christmas. A month later, I was still in pain. When I looked in the mirror, I realized the crowns didn’t fully cover my teeth. Since I had already moved out of Chicago, I reached out to the dental office. They initially responded with an email and a message, seemingly just to cover themselves. But when I replied, they never responded. I’m shocked by how they handled this. I wish I had never gone there or trusted their treatment.
I had such a great experience here! I wanted to get a general teeth cleaning before the year ended, but they said I actually needed a deep cleaning. Since I’m pregnant, they worked with me and still did a general cleaning, which I really appreciated as not all dentists or clinics are willing to do so. Dr. Patel was super gentle and made sure there was no bleeding, knowing how sensitive my gums are right now. Her assistant was really nice and the front desk staff was so welcoming. The dentist here called for 3-4 cavities and a crown to cost over $1300. I take very good care of my teeth. Never have had this much come up out of the blue after going every 6 months for my entire life. I got a very thorough second opinion and nothing was seen at all. I would not go here for more than a cleaning. Money grab it seems to me. Private equity has taken over this dental chain…about sums it up.
Unfortunately, this office deserves 1 star. The office is beautiful and modern which got me excited. The dental assistant was super kind and easy to talk to. I haven’t gone to the dentist in a while so I desperately needed to be seen. Going into the appointment I was expecting a cleaning and get established there. However, during the appointment the internet was glitchy which took up time of the appointment (unavoidable I know). But my appointment was an hour and half and they did my X-rays and measured my gums… no cleaning.... read more
Avoid! My appointment with the practitioners and the hygienist was amazing. They did a great job in cleaning my teeth and referred me to an Orthodontist for wisdom teeth removal. I however have such a problem with the admin team: 1) My husband was told that a specialty cleaning was needed and that it would be covered by insurance. However when we received the bill from our insurance company, they told me that Dentologie coded the service as ‘not necessary’ on one side of the myth.
