They recently merged with another group, Schweiger, and they now use Zocdoc to book online appointments. I scheduled a 3pm with Susan Wang, NP since she was wide open and it worked for my schedule. I get a call from this practice the day before that Nurse Susan won't be available in the afternoon and I can come either 9am or 11am. Note they didn't cancel my appointment immediately when they called which leads me to believe Nurse Susan didn't have any other appointments and wanted to leave early for the day. I saw the doctor last week. They apparently did not call in my prescription. I called to follow up about it. They said they would put in the rx today. I saw you last week and it's not been submitted. Wow! Girl said, you could have called last week about it. Double wow! Me: how about instead of telling me I should have called you last week about it, you can say to me that you are sorry my prescription was not sent in a timely manner and that you'll get to doing it right now?! What do you think of that?!

Only use the Dermatology Center of SF if you are ok with paying for your bill with your own money. Either because of the Dermatologist/Office Administrator/or billing company - the insurance company received coding that the removal of cancer was for "cosmetic purposes." Of course they said it is not covered in my plan. Removal of cancer code is covered though. My appointment with Dr Ellison was at the Dermatology Center in the CMPC Davies Campus. I had come here since I had a terrible rash on both of my legs that caused me great trouble: I can't say it hurt, but I was itching so badly that I had engaged in quite the scratching routine.
