This review is way overdue, but Dr. Hess is the best. We were originally with another Derm Vet near Westchester, but wasn't comfortable with their plans. Dr. Hess always makes my sweet boy, Petey feel at ease. She explains any concerns I have and always helps to educate her patients instead of telling them what to do. Although her office has moved to Long Island, I will always travel to see her when needed and she is always communicative over email/phone.
We were very impressed with Dr. Hess’s knowledge and the kindness of her staff. This was our first experience with a specialty practice. She took her time to answer all of our questions and conducts very thorough exams and diagnostics. Her staff was patient and very gentle with our foster cat during his first dermatology visit. We came to Dr. Hess with our foster cat who had been suffering with a neck rash that caused him so much discomfort. Dr. Hess and her team has been taking an excellent care of our cat since last summer. Our cat has two very rare health conditions, and Dr. Hess has been guiding us through the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing aftercare at home. She would explain everything in the way you would understand. She loves what she does, extremely insightful, and thorough. She attends annual conferences for dermatologists etc., and always keeps improving her practice. We really appreciate all the thoughtful support from Dr.Hess and her team!
I brought my baby Luca in for a dermatology appointment with Dr. Hess, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. Luca has been undergoing treatment for chronic autoimmune blepharitis in collaboration with her ophthalmologist, and we were referred to Dr. Hess by Dr. Wong in the Upper East Side.
