Honestly I have tattoos and a face tat so I was so scared I wasn't gonna get treated how I did on the phone but man I was wrong she was so sweet and polite made my whole night and helped me out I recommend 100

Wow! Let me tell you I'm so grateful for Derrel's Mini Storage! I had to move my mom in with the family and Derrel's saved the day. We had no room left in our shed and with prices too high for a woman on SSI we thought we were out of luck. Then we found Derrel's what a blessing. Great prices and Bobbie at the desk was so helpful and sweet. I'm very grateful! Kevin H
they are clean but they raise your rate every single year... i stay because not all storage facilities have the same size unit that i need but it would be nice if you didn't expect an increase every year.

I will give Derrel's 1 star because I do feel safe to leave my belongings there. However, the staff are the most rude people I've ever done business with. I've been there for at least 15 years and it wasn't like that always. I rent my units quarterly and one is paid up through May31st, at which time I have given my notice that I will be closing my unit, The other one ends March 31st, I have given notice to close.
Ohhh here we go. So this business is the perfect example of a 1 star review. If you're new to yelp and want to know the disparity between a 1 star and a 2 star visit Darrel's Mini Storage on Ben Maddox and do your best so say hello to the rude, insensitive and heartless lady behind the counter. I genuinely believe that the only people renting there are those who were in a pinch (as was the case with myself). They don't care about you. They care about your wallet. Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff. If you're wondering why this place has no reviews it's because it has no business. We were in a rut and needed extra storage space on top of the one we already purchased. This place being the on place open took us our money. As we moved all day I the hot sun we went to use the restroom for the paying customers like myself. I'm yelled at by the lady. "I just mopped in there!" Horrible customer service...! Very RUDE & unhelpful. My husband drove 3 1/2 hours to empty our storage but with bad traffic got there 20 mins before actually closing time. Yet they refused to let him drive in... They told him he had 10 minutes to empty the storage & WALK stuff out of the gate to the van! Wow horrible horrible horrible... I Definitely do not recommend this place...
