I had a wonderful experience at Desert Radiology this time around. I have significant anxiety and claustrophobia when it comes to MRI machines, and they were able to put me in an open MRI machine. I've previously had a very difficult experience at another imaging facility where I felt that the technologist did not understand or accommodate my anxiety and was extremely rude. So full disclosure I am a provider who refers patients here. But I actually came here today as a patient. I have unfortunately had my share of health problems and have been seen that multiple places in town. I shop for cash price discounts for my patients and I also care about scheduling, quality and overall experience. I find it DR is always clean and particularly the staff are courteous and compassionate. The front desk staff we're not timely at all or helpful, infact they were pretty rude to me and my mother who were their at the time. ahighly recommend going somewhere else if you can

Took my daughter to get x-rays, was forced to pre-pay almost $200. Was told that the x-rays would cost that much before any claim was submitted. My insurance company processed the claim the following week and said THEY paid Desert Rad $200 and the patient responsibility was $0. Desert Rad sat on having both my money and the insurance company's money and said nothing to me.
