I have been a patient here for years, recently the office staff they hire are horrible. If you notice on the reviews they only address the good reviews never the bad ones. I spend 4 hours yesterday trying to get my medical records from this office, and was told I had to drive to the main campus, got to the main campus and they told me I have to go to the office!! I think Dr. Coker the BEST and is an EXCELLENT doctor. He actually listens to you and your concerns. He good at following up and you DON'T feel like you are there just for him to bill your insurance like some experiences I have had. I didn't have him 5 stars because I sometimes have trouble get refills on prescriptions. Other than that, he is wonderful.
Worst office ever! Had an appointment scheduled & the day before the office manager, Thelma or Velma, called to tell me they were cancelling my appointment because I had seen another doctor a couple of months earlier and could no longer be seen at their office because “MediCare doesn’t allow that” when, in reality, I can go to any doctor I want, anytime I want, as long as they take Medicare. Doctor Coker is a wonderful doctor. He's been my primary care physician for over 5 years. He listens, he's patient and he cares. He is never rude. I would recommend him to anyone. The 1 star reviews from others are not typical. His staff is great too.
I am so incredibly sad that they no longer accept my insurance. I just wanted to say if you are looking for a doctor I highly recommend Paul-Coker! He has always listened to me and even triple check things to make sure he was giving me the best option. He always took his time with my appointments and never made me feel like a number but more like a person.
