Dr. Deuk and his staff are great. Things were explained clearly and were easy to understand. The only issue is that my insurance won’t pay for his laser surgery.
My daughter had 3 orthopedic surgeons tell us the only way for her to get relief was a spinal fusion. Dr. Deuk, checked her thorough and told us laser disc repair to fix the annular tear would relieve her pain. She has had intense pain burning, lost all feelings in her feet from a car crash in 2011. I’ve known Dr. Deuk for quite some time. A leader in his field and the only one I would trust to perform surgery on my back.
I have to admit I started out quite optimistic at Dr. Duek's as I had had a favorable office visit with him in the past. I began seeing Dr. Patel and liked him from the 1st visit. I began to get a bit skeptical when procedure after procedure failed to return favorable results, however after close to six months of trying, the final procedure of doing cervical epidural injections my pain disappeared and I have been free of it for a month and a half. I am a registered nurse and had done some postop work for Dr. Deukmedjian that is how I first learned about him. When my back situation arose it was severe and incapacitating from my lower right back all the way to my feet unable to even hardly stand or walk until I spent three weeks in bed. With the MRI showed I had serious issues two herniated disc‘s one bulging and an impinged L2 nerve root . I knew immediately I would go to Dr. Deukmedjian for advice.
