Closed on a land contract that we were sellers of and Devon wanted us to take a personal check from the buyer I said NO. A Cashiers check, cash or Direct deposit, Lucy & Shirl from Devon Title said there shouldn't be a problem with taking a personal check and Shirl would GUARANTEE IT well it DIDN'T CLEAR! Wouldn't go back there. There was a text that stated No personal check and they didn't want any surprises well that was a HUGE SURPRISE! Branch County Abstract was very helpful with questions I had.

So we had a wonderful experience here. This is our first home and Lucy was very nice and explained everything. It also didn't seem like we were there that long. The process was long but her nature was very enjoyable and made things fly by. Also I forgot my purse. The problem with this was because they were closing awhile after we got there to sign everything. We closed here as we sold our house. The "closing agent" was dry as sand but we were not there to party. He was very expeditious in our closing and respectful.
