The apartments are very nice, clean, quiet, and secure. My husband is an employee and he enjoys working here and we all enjoy living here. My only complaint is that we pay for parking in the garage but sometimes we can't find a spot on our floor and have to park higher up or lower down. There should be be a set amount of spots sold so that everyone paying can park on their floor. more »

Ivanva, thank you for taking the time to review our community. We appreciate your feedback regarding our parking structure and will explore options to better accommodate parking conveniences. I'd like you to know we do offer reserved parking spaces and if you''re interested I'm happy to discuss this option in more detail. Please give me a call directly or stop in during business hours, thanks!

Great downtown location right in downtown! Karen and Kari in the office are always so helpful and friendly. Finding parking can get tough during Rockies games so garage parking is worth the extra fee. I've recommended many friends to live here, I really enjoy living at Diamond! more »

Things have been heaps better here since the change in building ownership. I had a lot of issues when I first moved in but when Mission Rock took over my experience drastically changed. Changing my lease and ending it when I moved to California was SUCH an easy transition and I was able to get all of my deposit back. Kari and Karen are great about answering all questions and super helpful all around.
This building also offers affordable housing, which was super helpful coming to the city to do National Service on a stipend.

Happy to be a Resident at Diamond at Prospect
I’ve been absolutely thrilled with everything about my move to Diamond at Prospect. The building and its units are very attractive and extremely w
elcoming. On top of that, the representatives at the leasing office were simply outstanding. They truly went above and beyond to make the process easy and ensured I loved my new home. I’d recommend Diamond at Prospect to my friends and family, without hesitation. I couldn’t be happier to be a resident! more »

Diamond is a great place to live! It's close to Denver nightlife but just far enough away that it's still quite. I'm a pretty happy camper and don't think I'll be leaving this building for a long time! more »

I moved into the Diamond at Prospect in October of 2013 and though its only been 5 months since, I am extremely satisfied with the building and staff.
Everyone in the office is professional, kin
d, gracious, patient and helpful; exactly what you would want from a manager's office in an apartment building.
The building itself is well maintained, clean and secure.
I absolutely adore my own unit; I lucked out and have a corner unit, so I have lots of windows and light, tall ceilings and (faux) hardwood floors.
Maintenance requests are responded to extremely quickly (

We have a 2 bd, 2bath with balcony, that faces Coors field. We watch the coors field fire works 3 times a year from the balcony. The manager is the best since we moved here when the building was first built some 7 and half years ago. I would highly recommend living here, since light rail is so close and 16 st. mall just down the st. more »

My husband and I have lived at Diamond at Prospect for almost two years, and would love to stay except that our family is growing and we need more space. Our time at the complex has been great and we would highly recommend it as downtown Denver apartment!
Upon leasing and move-in, we were really impressed with the office staff. Through some odd circumstances of ours, we had a ton of interaction with them at the beginning of the move-in process, and they were always super helpful, kind and on top of things. Lori has been a God-send our entire time there, and I have so appreciated her willingness to address any problems that may arise as well as be a friendly face in the office. She's fantastic.
As for the apartment itself, we have a 2 bd, 1 ba loft style and it's the quintessential urban experience in downtown Denver with a spiral staircase, open floorplan, and a deck that overlooks Coors Field (loved being able to watch all the Rockies fireworks from our porch!). We really enjoyed the layout and finishes - well above the typical builder-grade you see in apartments. The location is great, being within an easy walk to Union Station, Coors Field and downtown Denver. I've worked downtown since we moved in an only needed a car occasionally as I walk to work every day.
The maintenance staff keeps the grounds in good shape, responds quickly to maintenance requests and overall no complaints.
We were so thankful for the opportunity to live at Diamond at Prospect and would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering moving in! Enjoy.

I lived @ the diamond for 3 years and to say the least it was the greatest 3 years of my life so far. The apartment is always clean and has a great maitainance staff that keeps up on the building. And the building always smells great. The leasing office team is amazing, always there for your every need and it was the first time i actually thought my leasing office cared for me and my needs and even wants, Lorri and vaneer are amazing, so nice, friendly, and there for every question. Also they do pizza nights and gift wrapping in the Christmas season which I thought was so awesome. There are really great people. A little about the apartment It is in downtown Denver by coors field so it is a different kind of living but I loved every second of it. It is so close to downtown so you can walk home if you go to the bars. All in all I loved living here and would recommend this apartment community to anyone Who wants a warm place to call there home around great friendly people. more »

I would recommend this place to anyone! When I was first considering The Diamond at Prospect I did, as I'm sure many of you are doing, read all the reviews. Most of them made me very nervous and hesitant to sign my lease, but let me tell you I could not have had a better experience here over the past year. Yes, there is the occasional fire alarm pulled, and from time to time the garage doors can go on the fritz, but you'll find these problems at most apartment complexes. The office staff is super friendly and very accommodating, I've never had a problem that the maintenance didn't take care of as soon as possible. All in all, I guess what I'm trying to say is that people need to give this place a little more credit, I've had a wonderful time living here so far and I'm only writing this because I think they deserve a positive review. So often people only write on these sites when they've had a bad experience, well, I'm writing to say what an amazing experience I've had. I would definitely recommend checking these places out. more »

I have lived here for a year and despite the occassional late night noise and garage door problems I like it! I have really nice neighbors and have never had any problems. Everytime I have needed to call for repairs (clogged drains, light bulbs, etc...) they come right away! The office staff is really nice and personable! I would definately recommend this place! more »

I've just made the arrangements to once again rent at The Diamond at Prospect.
Two years ago, I had the good fortune to find this complex, and was pleased with everything about it. I only m
oved because I was caring for a relative, and it became necessary for me to live in her home. Even then, the management bent over backwards to make my leaving easy. Sure, there are problems at the building (I had a neighbor upstairs that was tiny, but, walked like an elephant!)--but, there are problems with every apartment complex. I lived in a building in NYC that had million dollar apartments, and, I assure you, there were problems there all the time.
I was thrilled to see Lori was still managing the Business Office. She's a peach, and always responds ASAP to problems reported by tenants. She goes above and beyond in taking care of the tenants, and has never been anything by pleasant and professional. Whomever said the women in that office were rude obviously hasn't dealt with Lori.
I'm tickled to be back. The apartments are large, spacious, well laid out and airy. I found my electric bills to be minimal thanks to the great insulation, and the parking garage is so very handy, especially living downtown. Find me another complex that offers free parking in the downtown Denver area.
So, looking forward to another lease...

I have lived here for two years and wish to share my living experience at Diamond at the prospect. This is dense urban living no different from any other major city. With that comes lots of people, traffic, and activity. You know that going in. However, if you want to be part of the downtown life with all that comes with it: LODO, Coors Field, Pepsi Center, Denver Performing Arts, Light Rail access, Near I-25/70, etc. then this is as good as it gets. The key to any apartment complex is the property management team. This is the best property manager I have ever expereinced. Things will happen...a loud party, a fire alarm goes off, but property management will respond immediately and effectively. The maintenance staff is first rate. They keep the place clean and know how to fix things promptly and right. more »

I've lived in pretty much every place in Denver, and I really wanted to live downtown. I am a social worker, so I couldn't afford much, so when I found out Diamond at Prospect offers "rent controlled" units, I was set!
Because I do not make a lot of money, I actually get my unit for a really reasonable price, and I have my utilities included in the rent. Not too shabby. Although I do feel sorry for folks who have to pay the actual price (about $300 more plus utilities). I do make less than $30,000 a year, so I guess it works itself out.
After reading the previous posts, I can agree on some things: The stairwells usually have trash in them (and one time there was dog vomit! Gross, especially when you have friends visiting), the outside is littered in dog poop, no one keeps their dogs on a leash (which you are supposed to) so sometimes dogs will run in front of my car when I am driving to the garage. Also, parking is TERRIBLE if there is a Rockies game and you do not have a garage space (I have one, so it isn't an issue for me, but when my friends or family come to visit me, it is nightmare). There is suspicious graffiti that keeps showing up on hallway doors and storage units that say really horrible things (ie: "Kill the landlord!") but this usually gets cleaned off when reported. Also, my unit has the bedroom by the outside door and I can hear EVERYTHING. From doors slamming, to girls in highheels going out on a Tuesday screaming and giggling (I realize you may not have to work in the morning, but I DO!)
And the trash chute is always overfloaing and smells awful. Not to mention, my first month the firealarm went off twice: Once at 5am and another time at 3am in the winter time. Standing in the snow was not my idea of an early wakeup call.
That aside...I do really like Lori, the manager. She is really friendly, and she always takes care of my requests, as well as emails me back in a timely fashion. I feel confident going to her with any questions and concerns and she makes me feel like my voice is being heard. The security access "FOBS" used to access the building and garage are definitely safe and secure, but if you have a guest visiting, you have to run down to get them since they need a FOB to get through the building in general (if you don't have one, you are like a rat stuck in a maze and can't get out! A little annoying, but if it keeps us all safe, then all the better).I do like how my apartment is downtown (although by the railroad, a little creepy) yet, is in a little neighborhood away from all the hustle and bustle. So far my stay has been pretty good, but I do have another 8 months left on my lease (after completing 6 months) so we will see what is in store. I think for the location, the style of the units (they are super cute) and the price ("rent controlled units") I have no real complaints to make me not recommend this apartment (I do think maintenance should get their act together and clean up a little more though)....

I moved into this bldg. last summer and have had nothing but positivity from the staff. One thing people need to understand is that this is new construction, things are going to happen and it is going to take a little while to work out all the kinks. No apartment building is perfect and I certainly dont think that diamond is but yet a work in progress. Seems like the only thing people want to do is get on this website and complain but for once try looking at the bright side of where your living. And, just for reference on the "rent being so high at this property" that is a crock because the regular priced apartments do not pay higher for the affordable living there....Learn about the affordable program before you running your mouth about something you know absolutely nothing about. I think they are reasonably priced considering some of the things provided in the apartment home, that you will not find at metro. All in all, diamond is a great place to live and the staff is awesome to work with especially Joslin. Thanks more »
