I just opened up a new business and Dime was my first choice for an account because they have simple and free business checking. I was tired of bigger commercial banks (Chase, Citibank, etc.) nickel and diming me to support their ridiculous amount of branches and decided to give others a try. If there were any strings attached, I would have walked out of the Dime branch and stuffed my money in a dirty old mattress instead. The tellers here are super friendly. The atmosphere is calm and one usually has no issues with completing transactions. It's halpful that the staff is bilingual and are able to assist their clients in the best possible way.
This bank used to be great! Have been a customer here for 15 yrs or more. However the past few months have seen a change in personnel working there. While I understand that is totally normal, the tellers and new management there are absolutely horrible. They have no knowledge of their job, lines are extremely long now due to lack of knowledge, and they are actually rude and condescending towards customers .
